It is very easy to use. It is firmly attached to the wall and can hold back dogs of all sizes. The dogs at home will not run around. It is easy to install and the ones without punching are better. And after installation, it will not make the living room look bad. It is a relatively concealed decoration. The build quantity is good and very steady.

I purchased the Babepai Retractable Baby Gates Extra Wide | 55" Wide x 38" Tall Dog Gates for Stairs | Indoor/Outdoor Use because our Miniature Aussie refuses to stay off of our bed. I didn’t want a regular door style gate that was always in the way or one that had to be put up and taken down any time we needed to use it. I found this and thought it would be perfect. It absolutely has too! I love that you just mount it to one side of the door frame and mount the latch on the other door frame. Anytime you need to gate the door, just pull the gate out and latch it to the other side. The fabric is thick but still can make out shadows on the other side so your pet knows you’re still there and they aren’t all alone. The gate itself is very well built and easily keeps your pet/child out of areas they don’t need to be in. The gate itself slides easily in and out of its frame and takes just seconds to open/close. Overall it’s the perfect gate for us and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something that works well and still aesthetically pleasing.

Great height. Easy to install. Sleek and blends in when not in use. However, this product is not good for a small dog; they can crawl right under the locked gate.

Installed across opening to our stairs to prevent dogs from running upstairs. Installed inside wall to inside wall. I mention the inside wall-to-wall bit because it takes a bit of doing to open and close it in that configuration. I think it would be easier if was installed on the outside of the opening. Anyway works fine. And makes it fully across our 42 inch opening. I gave 4 stars because it's only been installed for about 3 weeks and I'm not sure about longevity of the spring roller mechanism. But we do open and close it at least a half dozen times per day and so far so good.
