We had a temporary heavy wooden gate to keep our new puppy corralled but we were afraid he was going to knock it over and get hurt. I looked on Amazon for a semi-permanent gate to put across the opening to our kitchen and its’ tile floors. Has been great. Was very easy to install and after using for several months, it is still sturdy and in place. Highly recommend.

If you have tricky walls or trim like I do, you know the struggle of finding a good baby (in my case dog) gate. I've returned three others before finally finding this gem.The adjustable tension bolts are the key. They allowed me to securely install the gate over my trim without any issues. I also used wall nannies to protect my walls, which I definitely recommend. No screws or adhesive were necessary; the tension alone is enough for me. This gate is sturdy and keeps my dogs from going up and down the stairs. I purchased two gates.My only slight complaint is with the auto-close feature; sometimes I have to manually close it. But honestly, after the gate-buying nightmare I've been through, this is a minor inconvenience. I wish I'd found this gate years ago!

This was so much easier to install than my old gate and seems really sturdy. Love the swing gate feature once I figured out you have to lift it a bit to open it. The extra sections to customize fit is a life saver!

I bought three of these gates in black, and they went up in our 32 inch door openings in mere minutes.They are perfect and function perfectly. Even my cantankerous husband approves!The wall nannies are also just the right fit. My only regret is that I didn’t know about these gates sooner; would have saved me falling over our old baby and pet gates all these years!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these were to install, and how great of quality they were for the price. I’ve tried a lot of baby gates over the years, and even my husband commented on how nice and sturdy these were. The latch is easy to work one-handed, and they fit perfectly even with baseboards at the bottom.

Instructions are well written and the item is fairly sturdy considering the price. I will be purchasing another for our home!
