Charge for 2 Hours
To get the maximum amount of glow time from your stones, charge them for at least 2 hours
Use a Strong Light
Charge in sun or bright light. Black light provides a quick burst of glow but not a full charge.
Use a Flat Surface
Spread the stones out flat while they charge, for maximum exposure to the light source.

Shocked how few there were in an order when we opened it. 100 pieces barely filled 2 snack zip lock bags. Line a walkway? Are you kidding? They don't glow very bright either. Don't waste your money. Not as advertised.

They glow, just not very bright. I also greatly underestimated how much 100 pieces would cover. If you have toddlers who like to put things in their mouth I also do not recommend, I am certain the rocks whisper eat me to him.

Gave these to my daughter as part of her b-day gift for her dorm room. I tested them before giving them, by putting them in a south facing window( on a cloudy day) for only a few min, and then into a closet they went to check their glow. (Impatient? ;) They work! Next day I had more time, and they went back onto the south windowsill, sunny this time. They absorbed sun all day, still in their package, and glowed all night long. I even checked their glow at 1:00 and 4:00 a.m, for this review and to satisfy all you insomniacs out there. Keep in mind( per negative reviews I've read) they are NOT actual night- lights, just little plastic "rocks" which give off a soft glow. I think the green glow brighter, and sooner with less light exposure, but the blue glow well, just more softly ( which may just be their color) and the two colors look great together, in my opinion. They might be large for a tiny fairy garden, but give the type of glow you'd expect. It would take about a zillion for a driveway, but for a windowsill, potted plants, other decor the 100 piece pkg works fine. There is a helpful review on you tube which shows size, color, and glow that I watched before buying. I will buy more for my youngest daughter as she was eyeing them on her sis' b-day. :) Cool product! Opps should offer pink and purple!!

Very hard to see in the dark - we got them to place on our family's graves at the cemetery, but they hardly glowed at all after 2 full days of sunshine on them. We also tried them at home first and with the same results. We thought maybe there were too many lights around causing them to not be as bright. But, at the cemetery lights were not the case, but the stones were still not bright and could hardly even be seen. They certainly did not look like the ones pictured at the left here. They do not, nor have they ever shone light that picture!!! I am sorry to have to tell you this because usually I am very satisfied with items purchased from Amazon, but these stones just don't work. And, I did read and followed all the enclosed instructions before using them.

I have not placed them in my garden yet so my review may be a bit premature. However, they come packed clear so you can see their color which is just as shown in listing. Very vibrant but not tacky. I cannot totally judge the glow. I've had them in clear package in partial direct sunlight by my kitchen window waiting for garden to be complete to lay. I haven't noticed much of a glow. But again that may be because they are still packaged and only getting some light when the sun is hitting back of my house shining on kitchen counter. I only ordered 2 packs not knowing exactly how much each pack would cover. I plan on scattering them with other grey not glow stones. Even so 2 is not enough. I should have ordered 6 at least, maybe more, so good thing the price is so great. I plan on laying them down next week. So hopefully once outside in the sun they will absorb the light they need to cast a lovely glow once sun goes down. I imagine during the day they will still add the pop of color i wanted. If they glow as expected I will be ordering more. From description i did think the packs would be a bit larger than they were. So order more than you think you will need. I do imagine that they are simply not getting the light they need only getting partial sun & i will get the glow i expected once i lay them in garden. i will most likely be ordering more as soon as i find out. Prematurly gave 4 stars brcause i can't judge glow , thought the packs would hold more , but gave 4 because color w/out glow is beautiful, price is great, arrived quickly.

This item is a giant piece of crap, honestly. They're a nice color, and thereare plenty of them, but I have them sitting in direct sun all day and there isabsolutely no glow at night. Not even faint. None.I followed the directions, they're not in the package, they're not in a heap,and there is no ambient light. Still no glow.So I'm not sure what these are supposed to be used for besides a lame scienceexperiment in a windowless bathroom. The pictures showed a sidewalk being litup by them. Pretty sparkles in the night. That's a complete lie.The only good thing I can say is that I heard from the Opps company themselves, and they issued a full refund, but I still can't give it 2 stars because the product is just that awful. "I'm sorry you're not happy with the amount of glow", they said. Lol, there is NO glow! I think this company should change their name from Opps to OOPS.
