I got them for some planters but they are a bit larger and bulkier than I expected. I worry they will compress the dirt. If they are not going to be supporting something alive, they are great. Large, polished, they appear to be river rocks. The color is pretty sold and uniform black without marbling of any type.

Perfect covering for a few small potted plants we have. I like the size of the pebbles and will likely order some more for a few of our larger pots. I like how it covers up the dirt and gives it a more clean look!

These came quickly and were packaged in a heavy plastic bag that was sturdy enough to prevent any rips or tears. These were very clean stones, with no grit or sand in the bag. The rocks are pretty uniform in size and nicely polished. There were no chips or broken stones and the color was consistent on each piece. I would definitely not hesitate to use these as decorative stones in a vase or as a topper layer for a potted plant. I am not sure about using in an aquarium as i am not certain what type of finish was used on these stones. I would definitely buy again.

These polished black stones come in a full 2 lb bag. The variety in sizes of the small stones makes these perfect for some of our potted outdoor Bonsai trees. The stones are smooth so they do not hold onto dirt or small wood chips and rinse off easily. I recently used these washed stones to create a spiral "path" on a white round birthday cake that led up to Guan Yin, the goddess of women, children and protection. Of course the stones must be removed to eat the cake but they wash up easily in a bowl of soapy water. I also plan on making small installations in our yard making designs from the stones, berries and leaves.

I requested these in exchange for a Vine review after seeing them as a choice. I've been needing to go to the local hardware store to see if they sell rocks because we have no rocks near our house that aren't just ugly gravel rocks. I wanted them as a base for my containers of the narcissus (paper white) bulbs I wanted to plant. These arrived and are perfect for that! They also have a classy look in that they're all smooth and black and make the inside base of the containers look great. I wish I would have ordered more! I saw a video online of a tour of a decorators home and in it she showed how she planted everything with black rocks on the surface to give it a uniform and cohesive look that wouldn't draw your eye away from the plant nor her interiors. It looked great and she was right! I'd definitely recommend these.

I like to add colored, or black, rocks around my larger plants or trees. I especially like to add this black rock to my artificial trees at the base of the tree. It just makes the trees stand out more and the base really look incredible.Im glad that they have polished these stones smooth. They are definitely decorative rocks. They would look really good around a Bonsai tree, placed in a vase for all sorts of things. Even landscaping with these shiny black stones around the edges of a walkway. It might get a bit expensive if I were to line our entire walkway with this decorative rock, but if I had a small area I would definitely do it.Each rock is a natural stone that has been polished smooth and then a layer of non-toxic stone wax oil is added for durability and making it look great. It states that these stones can be added to fish tanks. I will trust what the manufacturer has stated that the wax oil is non-toxic. I will have to try this because I think that it would look really cool to have a fish bowl with shiny black rocks on the bottom.

Folks, I spent lots of time looking for something to make my front flower beds pop! I saw a video where someone used polished stones, and it looked great. So, I decided to give this a try. And wow, my wife and I could not be happier. I was a bit skeptical, but now I am super pleased with the results. Lots of sellers online for this product. This seller had the best prices, and it was covered under Prime!! We plan to purchase more for other flower beds!

I bought a couple bags worth of stones about 2 months ago. As you can see from the picture the majority are cracking, chipped, and turning into a weird rusty brown color. These stones are being used outside and I have no faith that they will keep their look in a year's time. Wasted hundreds of dollars since now I have to look for a higher quality replacement.
