It seems cheaply built, noisy, and has slow rotations. Plus, depending on where you hold it, it overheats.The quality is more akin to a child's toy.

This polisher kit does a decent job. The motor stalls easy (which can be a good or bad thing), it came with extra supplies that were not in the description but could also use more accessories in the kit.My kit came with two shoe polishes that were not in the description. While they seemed they could be quality polish, I'm picky about what polish I use so I didn't try the polish in the kit.When I hand polish my shoes, I have supplies dedicated to each shoe polish color that I'm using. I have an applicator, horsehair brush and polishing cloth for my brown polish, and I have a separate applicator, horsehair brush and polishing cloth for my black polish, etc. This kit only comes with one applicator and one horsehair brush. So, if you want to use this polishing kit for more than one color, you'll need to find a way to wash each component. It would be nice, for this price, if the kit came with three sets of applicators, brushes and polishers.In terms of simply using it as a mechanical polisher instead of doing a hand polish, I do believe it saves times and does a decent job. The motor has varying speeds which is nice, but it isn't too powerful. If you apply too much pressure on your shoe, the motor doesn't have enough power to keep spinning so it stalls and stops. It's possible that is a good feature as it prevents you from polishing too hard and creating a burn spot on your shoe. However, when I'm hand polishing, I'd be applying more pressure. Regardless, I was able to get a shine that I was proud of on my boots.

3 stars, but it’s really 2 1/2 stars.Pros: strong, variable torque rotation. Does the buffing for you.Cons: it’s built like my patience, which does not last. The dial remains electrified after unplugging, still emitting the blue light that shows that it is on. I’m expecting the worst electric spark/shock. The rotating torque will wrench your hand as you work on the shoes and gets tiresome to hold steady. The Chinese shoe polish smells like communism to me.I’ll keep updating if necessary.

There is some power for the value. It is easy to use and performs ok. This however is more like a quick fix. Nothing better than good old fashion elbow grease.

Decent power, but pads are not good quality extra set for different colored shoe polish or option to purchase would be nice.

This shoe polisher works great, when it works. My initial polisher stopped working after the first use of about 20 minutes. The vendor gave great customer support, and immediately sent a replacement unit; however, the 2nd unit worked differently than the initial unit. The initial unit rotated at higher RPMs than the 2nd unit, and I could hear the difference in operation.The 2nd unit works, but not as fast. As it pertains to speed, I love the adjustable speed for the polisher. It would be good of the adjustment could be made fomrom the polisher instead of at the plug. Also, I have two more polisher, and this one has the most speed of any of them.The head of the polisher gets warm after about 10 minutes of use.The included polish has good quality to it. The heads are good quality heads, but not than one set should be included with the polisher. At least two sets shoukd be included to apply the two color polishes provided.
