We've tried lots of different kinds of gates for our dog over the years. She likes to try to dig her way out of our wooden doorways, acting like a wood chipper! I've also put many holes and wall anchors and spackle patches in walls of our houses over the years. We finally found this gate and it fits the bill! It’s made of solid metal, is freestanding and very stable with the included feet. And the best part is, it reaches all the way across our door opening, which is 10 feet wide! and it doesn’t need to be connected to the walls by screws or pressure, so I can fold it up and hide it away when it’s not needed.I misunderstood the directions when assembling it, which incidentally is very easy, and the seller emailed me back that night! He was very helpful and accommodating, and even sent a photograph to help me.if you’re looking for a stable, easy-to-assemble freestanding gate for your pet, this one is worth every penny. Don’t hesitate.

This Full Metal Freestanding Dog Gate exceeded my expectations in every way! The 32-inch height is perfect for keeping my energetic dog contained, and the 6 panels give me plenty of flexibility to block off various areas in my home and even outside on the porch. I love how sturdy the metal frame feels—no worries about it tipping over or my dog pushing it out of place. The built-in door is a great convenience, making it easy to pass through without constantly moving the gate. Plus, it’s foldable and easy to store when not in use. My primary requirement: It is easy to open with one hand. This works great, just pull the release bar slightly to the middle of the gate to release. Easy to pull the release bar, and the gate has not come open once by accident. It was well packed. Easy to assemble. Keeps cats contained. Lock engages securely every time. Seems very sturdy, good welding, etc. Nice smooth surface finish, looks good and not "cheap". Has not moved since installation. I thought I'd have to use a shower bar mount or similar to keep it from moving, but it keeps plenty of pressure on the wall and hasn't moved at all. The auto-close feature has worked just as expected. And it always latches shut. I've had it ~9 weeks so far and can't really think of how it could be better. Just walked through and was so pleased I decided to write this review.

First of all, it's really sturdy, which is what I'm most pleased with, it has metal foot supports and non-slip rubber pads that enhance stability, prevent tipping over, ensure the door is firmly held in place, multiple panels are connected by 360-degree metal hinges, and you can make a folding dog door into any shape you need, very practical

It’s tall enough to keep my dog safely contained, and the 6-panel foldable structure makes it incredibly easy to set up or store away when not in use. I use it both indoors and outdoors, and it’s proven to be super sturdy and durable. The metal construction is solid, so I never have to worry about my dog scratching or chewing through it. Honestly, this gate is a prime example of "you get what you pay for." It’s on the pricier side, but the quality is unmatched.

A great metal dog gate! Anyone with a rambunctious pup knows the drawbacks of wood or plastic over time, not to mention the chewing. We have a husky and I am convinced she would chew through a redwood in an hour. It’s also not flimsy aluminium or something, it’s very sturdy and holds up well against girls scratches and occasional nudges.The added metal foot supports and anti-slip rubber pads are fantastic—they keep the gate stable without tipping over.The easy-open door is great feature when your gf is 5’2 (or if you have children who couldn’t easily step over the gate. It also opens both ways, more convenient than you’d think.. I love how versatile the design is; the folding panels and 360-degree hinges let me configure it in whatever shape I need, whether it’s blocking off stairs or creating a safe play area.It’s also easy to store since it folds up compactly when not in use. I appreciate the different height and panel options, making it perfect for my medium now but soon to be LARGE-sized doggo. Highly recommend this gate. A+
