It does protect the carpet as it says. However, it seems to have a life of its own and crawls out of place - even with furniture setting on top of it. My computer chair does roll easily over it....when it isn't wrinkled and creased up which it tends to do consistently, even after months of use. It is holding up well though. So far no signs of wear or tear.

Very attractive, looks so much better than the clear plastic mat I was using. Not as heavy-weight as I had hoped, but appears to be durable and should last for a long while. Appears to be much more expensive than it actually is and really improves the looks of the room as well as protecting the floor.

Looks way better on my hardwood floor than my old clear plastic mat. It's not very thick, so you can tuck it under a table to help keep it in place, and it has a grippy bottom surface.

Beautiful! It grips the floor pretty well, and while it was wrinkled at first from shipping, it flattened very quickly. The colors are beautiful, and the rug seems like good quality. Definitely a good value!

It was perfect as far as size and thickness that I needed. It is however very light weight and bunches up when you roll around in your chair. I ordered rug grippers the next day. I would recommend getting some when you order this but with those it works great and looks great!

The rug will sometimes move slightly when I move across it with my chair but it isn't too much of a hinderance. The colors are as shown and it's easy to vacuum. All in all, well worth it for the price.

I bought the 4’x3’ rug for under my desk. Other reviews were stating it had creases. Yes it does. It was folded to be able to ship. I put the rug in the dryer on low before putting it down. It still had creases but not bad. I put it down and it fits and looks great. The creases are starting to flatten out. My chair with rollers slides just fine over the rug. The quality is nice and I would definitely buy it again.

This is my first day using this mat and I am disappointed. I thought this would be a nice alternative to a clear plastic desk chair mat. While it looks good, functionally it has been disappointing. I am constantly moving my chair to spread the mat out, as it wrinkles up under my desk chair. There is really no weight to this mat, so it moves a lot. I don’t know how much longer I will be able to stand doing this, so it will probably be returned.
