We recently remove carpet in our home office and now my chair started to move too easy on the new hardwood - I almost missed the chair couple of times while trying to sit. This rug is big enough for my office corner and has rubber backing making it absolutely not sliding or moving once placed down. The chair now moves in the controllable manner, but dies not stuck and it is easy to move it in and out of the rug. The thickness is adequate for the purpose, the top side is very smooth, more like a printed fabric than a rug, but looks stylish and earthy.

This is a very nice rug. It's the right material to provide a non skid surface with a backing that keeps the rug in. The color of the gray rug is true to the item photo. You should expect some creasing due to the packaging but following the instructions provided took care of the problem.

This is a great carpet. It is very thin but perfect for office use. It even has a rubbery back to it that keeps it put on the floor. I will likely buy more of these for use around the house like at the bottom of the steps because they stay put.

The mat was even better than I had hoped. The textured back means it won't shift even when you roll the chair around on it, and the color is lovely. I'm very pleased with the quality.

I got this mat for our entryway, not for a desk area. The reason is because it looked awesome, was non-slip and would fit perfectly for our entryway. I am NOT disappointed. This rug has lived up to expectations. We're very happy with it. The design is beautiful and really dresses up our entryway. It's perfect for those winter days when you come in and your boots/shoes are covered in snow. This traps all the dirt, snow and water and it's big enough where you can wipe your shoes, take them off and step away and not get your socks wet. Perfect!The non-slip backing is amazing too. It's the non-slippiest backing I've ever felt on any rug ever. It's almost sticky. It also keeps the snow/water from seeping through to the wood floor.It seems to be made with quality material. The stitching is perfect with no stray strings or sewn edges.My only minor gripe is that it came folded up. Amazon used to ship their rugs/mats/carpets rolled up, but since they've been trying to be more environmentally friendly and use less packaging, the rugs/mats and carpets are folded up. That makes a ton of creases now. It's a minor gripe because eventually the creases will come out after a few weeks. Or, you could use a steamer. No worries though. Still an A+++ mat!!!

I'm very surprised - I didn't expect an Under Desk Rug to lay flat and not move about when I roll my office chair on it. I already had a smaller size plastic mat down in this area, and it would move as I rolled the chair. So far this rug is staying put in it's designated place.And it looks so much nicer than a plastic mat - I ordered the coffee color and it's not dark but looks like a real rug. The rubberized backing sticks to the carpet underneath quite well.The cost is pretty reasonable, and at the time of this writing there is a coupon to check for 25% off. Heading: Reasonable expectations and you have 5 stars rug Background: the reason I ordered this rug was my wife and I have Home offices/workstations and we use office chairs with rollers. Specifically Herman miller with standard rollers.Quality: Rug is decent quality for this price point. However, it is my personal opinion that the graphics look better in camera and in the photo than they actually look in person if you look at it carefully, but I'm being nit-picky here in this situation but end of the day I'll take function over aesthetics. And it's definitely better than just a black mat.Pros: Grippy: this mat is super grippy probably the most grippy rug/mat I've ever had. Really helps it. Stay in place and helps it not move around when you roll over it and around when on top of it.Cons:Crease: it comes all folded up and there's definitely some significant increases that definitely annoy you when you first roll over it however I took a steam iron to it and they came right out with a little bit of tension. Put your weight on it put some tension on it and then iron those creases and it'll come out.Subjective: you're not gonna roll on your chair like you can on a hardwood floor or on a hard plastic mat. My wife tried it and she felt it inhibited to rolling too much however, I like it it slows down the rolling and allows me to use my foot rest without slowly sliding away and keep my foot rest in place better I can still roll around on the chair it, but it just takes a little more effort. So if you're someone who it's constantly rolling around the chair you may not like this, but if you stay in one place for a decent amount of time, you won't really notice it.Bonus: I didn't buy the rug for this, but it actually significantly helps with noise pollution. The acoustics in my little home office area have significantly improved after putting the rug down.

This carpet is just what I like. I'd always thought of putting down the hard acrylic mats of some sort under the office chair. However, when I saw this mat/rug I decided I'd like to have this style. I am glad for the purchase. It's much nicer, adds a warmth to my media room and the chair glides over it just fine. The backing is extraordinary. It feels like it would be sticky but it is not! It's tactile enough that it clings to the wooden floor and doesn't wave or ruffle. While it shows mostly as a mat for a work chair, I nearly kept it for another area, it looks just that good. Stylish and it is washable. I feel better knowing that the wood floors are not taking the brunt of the wear any longer. It comes in some pretty great choices of colors.
