I got these because several times I have come home to the kitchen smelling like gas only to find that either me or my mother accidentally hip-checked the stove's knobs and left the gas running for some time.So far we haven't had any issues! Both of us have bumped into the knobs several times since and these caps have kept us from gassing the house lolMy only complaint is that these are huge and you definitely need to measure before purchasing. We have 5 knobs on our stove and could only put 2 total cause otherwise nothing would fit. That said, at least now we have back up in case the ones currently installed break. These seems well made however, so hopefully that won't happen for a long while now.They're very easy to install and are very renter friendly! They simply pop on with the adhesive provided and seem like they would easily come off when needed.

These are protecting the knobs on my stove from accidentally bumping them and gas leaks which did happen. Never knew these existed until I did some research and am I glad I found these! I don't have small children in my home but this is a great safety issue even for seniors!

My dog used to jump up on the stove and would accidentally turn the burners on. It did the job for keeping that from happening, but they are easily broken.

I brushed up against my gas stove one day, and hour later I could smell the gas from the back of the house and ran to check knobs, and sure enough one was on.These work perfectly. Easy to install, looks nice, easy to open for use, and clicks nicely to close. Will be handy with the grand babies also!

The photos show a cover with 2 clips on the sides, what was delivered has one clip on the front. The photo also has adhesive strip that does all the way around, mine came with 2 tiny strips that don’t go all the way. You have to be very careful opening and closing these as the hinges get stuck and will snap. Better off going with the better quality ones.

On many stove the knobs are low and in the front and a simple light push and turn , turns the burner on.I had it happen to me 3 times and wife 2..we don't have any children but if you do or like us the grandkids come over and can turn it on . This simple to install protects you from inadvertent stove turn on as well as stops the smaller children from turning on. I highly recommend this protection knob..

These knob covers work as intended, however, I'm likely going to need to replace my stove once they are no longer necessary, f I don't want to continue to use them - that 3M adhesive is tenacious.You need to remember to close them when you open/close your oven, or you will risk breaking them.
