It’s been a total of 4 years since we purchased this baby gate, and honestly we love it. I am a mother of three little girls and it has been a huge life saver! Baby gates are important tools for parents, and caregivers because they can keep young children out of stairways and other potentially dangerous areas.What I love: the walk-thru gate which opens both ways. Much better than stepping over static gates, or temporary barriers such as cardboard boxes. The delivery was fast, easy to follow instructions and quick setup. Very pleased with the styling and functionality.Helpful hint: In order to protect our walls and to give more of a tight fit. We order off amazon: Vmaisi Baby Gate Wall Protector - Protect Walls & Doorways from Pet & Dog Gates - Pressure Mounted Gates Work on Stairs - 4 Pack Gates Wall Cups - White. It makes the gate more secure, has more of a grip, and it has a damage free design for walls. I would highly recommend both products!

This was the best valued gate I could find. Many of the other gates wanted twice the price or more! This gate works extremely well for keeping pets out of certain rooms or areas. It also works well for children. It is sturdy and robust when installed right. I also really liked the welded support brackets that add more sturdiness when using the extensions… most of the other brands I’ve used don’t have this. It looks nice and functions as expected. This gate is not as hard for slightly older children to use as some of the others.. so that could be good or bad. The design of the latch is a bit simpler and requires less grip strength which can absolutely be welcomed for some adults and even if you want some older kids to be able to pass through. There were no missing parts.

Very sturdy, has extenders to fit multiple spaces as needed. We moved houses and used on a different place, still great fit.

The gate works we used the extension for our large hallway and then easily removed the extension to block off the kitchen as you can see in the images.One thing to note for our Scenario we had to run the gate slightly not parallel. As our bench and wall were not aligned which you can see in the second image. It still works for us and we're glad it does. Probably wouldn't go much more further than that though otherwise the little mounts might not have a good time.

La reja se adapta muy bien a diferentes tamaño, es fácil de instalar y el ajuste sin necesidad de tornillos es muy bueno, mi bebe de 1 hasta el momento no es capaz de moverlo

I bought this gate to keep a cat out of a room with an extra-wide 55" opening. I read some reviews here that it didn't fit a 55 inch size (too big / too small), but I wanted to add a review to show that it DOES fit this size JUST FINE, and with plenty of room to spare either way thanks to the adjustable bolts that are on the ends.Installation was mostly easy, except for a couple hiccups. The installation instructions were good. Very clear, good images, and in good English (it also had a Spanish side, possibly a 3rd language too). The main issues were a couple fit-and-finish problems during assembly. The extensions go together with a rod-and-hole coupling. One of the rods didn't line up with the hole, so I had to pry the rod slightly with a flathead screwdriver to fit together. Another thing is the gate's top hinge is held in place with a pin and bracket. The bracket was a little misaligned so I had to file it down a little for it to all fit together. But, otherwise it all fit together nicely.One more issue: the "optional safety locks" at the bottom of the gate that you can rotate down to keep the gate closed even if you operate the latch on top would NOT move for me. They wouldn't rotate and stayed cemented in the "up" position. It could be user error, but the instructions simply said "rotate them" which simply didn't work. So either bad instructions, bad design, or this unit was badly manufactured.With those issues out of the way, the gate does exactly what I wanted it to - provide an easy way to enter a room that doesn't have a door, while keeping a cat (who doesn't like to jump) out of the room. 100 percent follow the guide but still can't work, the lock can't match the frame so it can't be locked at all!

I say that in my title due to my OWN user error. At first I thought there was a gate issue...I installed it but could not figure out the gap where the gate opening meets the closed fence part.I hate to admit that it was THEN that I read the enclosed sheet. I had read the instructions and this is what I think is the fault with the instructions...this is a pretty important factor that isn't on there, but it IS on a separate sheet that I did discover later. And this is pretty simple.This gate is made so that when you adjusts the knobs correctly on top, you'll see the gate latch close itself. This is done as a safety precaution and means you have installed it correctly. Install it by screwing the knob on one side really far and then the other side very little and the gate won't latch. Very simple--just do them fairly evenly and this gate works FANTASTIC.I have owned several gates. With dogs that want in rooms they don't need in (or God forbid the cat box) I have gone through a few. I don't like wooden ones. They wind up scratching. I don't like ones that zig zag as they don't attach to the wall right and fall over. (I have learned a few things over the years) and I don't like gates I have to use tools to install...no need to mar my walls. I don't want to have to step over gates and I don't want them short with endless attachments to widen them.So let's get to why I am in love with this one then. Medal, it doesn't scratch. I LOVE the gate and how easily it opens when you know how but how impossible it would be for kids visiting to open as well due to how it is configured! It makes it easy to install on your own with zero tools...I just turned the knobs on each end until it adhered to the wall and baseboards. And one side was totally different from the other as it also landed on a door frame yet this made it perfectly easy and straight and sturdy to attach.You can adjust the width with the gate remaining straight.My cats can fit through a wide part of the opening but not my tiny dogs.No need to step over it and knock it down--the gate swings ever so effortlessly and is made well. It also latches back perfectly.My cats used to jump over the old ones and eventually loosen them--this ones just won't budge even with the jumps.More importantly, this is a rare gate that FITS my hallway and looks like it is meant to be there...matching my white trim beautifully.I think this is the 6th gate I've owned. I won't buy another brand. Love. Made to last. Easy to use. I also like how it kind of closes on it's own (though not latching) if I am doing something like bringing laundry through so it looks closed to the dogs but it's not latched.
