This is such a nice crepe maker. I just buy the mix and make a crepe at home. The kids love it. It’s a skill to master but this makes it a lot easier. I do also make roti on it. Who knew it’s multi functional!!!!!!! Very user friendly. I must say please make sure you also have space for all the gadgets.

This is a 16" electric injera maker from Ethniq. It includes a crepe spreader and a wooden spatula, as well as a stainless steel lid. When I ordered this I'm not sure I was picturing just how big 16" is, LOL. It really is quite large, but injera are large so it makes sense. This thing is pretty impressive looking. It has digital temperature control and an LED screen that shows the temperature it is set at. I will say the numbers around the dial don't exactly coincide with the temperature showing on the screen. For example, when I set mine to 350, the arrow on the knob is sort of more by 325. Not a really big deal, it's pretty clear the temperature on the screen is right and whoever painted on the numbers by the dial was just off. It heats up fairly quickly and the screen blinks to let you know it's ready. The surface has very even heating, much better than any griddle type appliance I've had before. I do have concerns about the durability of the nonstick surface on something that gets so hot, and also exactly what type of nonstick surface this is. There is no information in the instructions, on the box, in the product listing, or on the manufacturer website about whether this nonstick surface is PFOA free. That would be good information to have. All in all I think this is a great device, I just wish there was more info on the nonstick surface.

I really wanted to like this griddle but I don’t think I do. I got it to make crêpes, I was hoping for something easier than making it in a nonstick frying pan on the stove. I like that this has a large surface and the surface is nonstick. I like that it has adjustable temperature control and it has a digital display to see exactly what the temperature is at. The temperature seemed accurate, although the griddle does get extremely hot while it’s heating up, then it seems to hold the set temp well.A few things I don’t like:-there are no nonslip pads on the bottom of the griddle, it’s just plastic feet so it kept sliding around on my countertop.-the batter kept wanting to pool on one side of the griddle.-the wooden tools that come with the griddle are rough, unfinished, and too thick to properly use.-the instruction booklet did not come with any recommended recipes or tips on cooking with the griddle.-the griddle top does not come off the base, so if batter spills over the side, it gets inside the unit itself and there is no way to clean it.

From my wife:I was really just looking for a pancake griddle that heats evenly, and admittedly, this is a bit overkill. I think it would be perfect for crepes or lefse, and I’m excited to try that soon but for now I can easily make a stack of pancakes in just a few minutes! I’m lucky to have storage space for this beast of a griddle, but be aware—it’s HUGE and may not fit in a standard cupboard.
