I have had my two Dynatraps - the large one-acre ones - for two years. I was starting the think they were a waste of money when the bulbs went out on both of them. I decided to give them another year to see if they would do as well as they had done when I first bought them. YEP! The fresh bulbs pumped the mosquitoes out of my yard. Lesson learned - when they say to change the bulbs every three months, even if the bulbs are still working - they mean "if you want mosquitos to be attracted to the trap and be gone from your yard" use new bulbs every three months.

My replacement bulbs arrived quickly and intact. I have to keep my mosquito traps running well down here in south Louisiana.

These bulbs must be designed to burn out as fast as possible. I'm spending so much on bulbs, at this point, that I'm going to rewire the dynatrap to utilize other manufacturer bug zapper lights that actually last. I've NEVER had to replace so many bulbs with those. These traps are already extremely expensive, didn't need them to go out of their way to make really horrible bulbs to get more money out of me. 10 bulbs in a few years I'm done.

I usually buy these directly from Bed Bath and Beyond. They have closed their stores near me, so I ordered from amazon. I was a little worried about ording light bulbs through the mail; they won't work. These came well packed with good insulation. They work like they are supposed to and have lasted for a couple of months. No regrets.

We really like our Dynatrap. Original bulbs lasted > year. These replacements are labeled "about 4 months" so we'll see. Only issue I had and this has nothing to do with the bulb itself, but rather the particular DynaTrap model we have. Replacement is a bit tricky. There's a plastic "foot" over each end of the bulbs that's held in place with a couple of screws that have be removed to get the "foot" off. The placement of these screws underneath the top cover makes them a little tricky to get to.

A little tricky to get in, but more the unit than the bulbs. I find they last about one season but lose a bit of effectiveness near end of life, but seems to do the trick in attracting bugs including mosquitoes

These are easy to install. Overall are a good value. Wish they lasted a bit longer.
