These are good sturdy snaps with a nice smooth movement. Strong enough to hang my horse's feed bucket at shows. They'll be perfect for whatever you want to hook together.

CONS: Price.PROS: None.Additional Thoughts: These are just standard double ended bolt snap hooks. They are sturdy and have a smooth slide action. I do not feel they are worth $10 as I can go local and get them for a fraction of that price.LovingTheRetiredLife

I picked up this 2-Pack of 3-1/2" 316 Stainless Steel Double Ended Bolt Snap Hooks mainly to keep my dive gear secured. Overall, they’re decent, but not mind-blowing—solid enough, but I have a few reservations.Pros:✅ Decent Spring Mechanism – The tension is reasonable, not too stiff, and easy to open with one hand.✅ Versatile Use – Works for diving accessories, ropes, straps, and general attachment needs.✅ Supposedly 316 Stainless Steel – Time will tell if it holds up to marine conditions, but I do question the finish and feel compared to my other stainless steel gear.Cons:⌠Double-Ended = Double the Risk? – The dual-sided design is convenient, but I’m slightly concerned that one end could accidentally unlatch while in use. Hopefully, that won’t be an issue.⌠Retraction Isn't the Smoothest – It works, but it doesn’t have that precision-machined feel. You can tell it’s more on the functional side than a high-end finish.⌠Stainless Steel... Maybe? – Compared to my other marine-grade SS clips, these have a different look and feel. Not as shiny or polished, so I’ll keep an eye on potential corrosion and update if needed.Final Verdict:For now, I’d rate these 4 stars ââââ. They seem functional and sturdy, but I’ll need to see how they hold up over time—especially in saltwater conditions. If they start rusting, that rating will take a dive! 🌊😂

I don't really know what to say other than they are snaps, not unlike snaps you can buy at any hardware store. Nothing really special, until you need them and when you have horses you need them all of time. It is convenient to be able to order them on-line. The snaps are on both ends and work well for tying things down or holding things onto saddles.

As good as the expensive name-brand snaps, and seems to be true 316 stainless. I use them to clip my gear on for scuba diving so the use case is fairly harsh with sand, grit, and salt water exposure on the regular. Only 2 dives with these but so far no signs of rust or failing mechanisms. Very nice.

On the bench today, I’ve got YUEARN Double Ended Bolt Snap Hook, 2-Pack 3-1/2 in 316 Stainless Steel Marine Grade Double End Trigger Snaps Metal Clips for Dog Leash, Key Chain, Horse Tack, Pet Feed Buckets, Diving.Not a lot to say about some snap hooks. They seem to be fairly strong and have very little magnetic properties so I have no reason to believe they aren’t 316 stainless steel.

These are truly perfect for day to day use. I have a small acreage farm, and everything needs snaps. Chains on gates, water and feed buckets, stall doors, hay nets, blankets, shed doors, just everything everywhere.A few key items I look for are durability and weather resistance. This set is strong, thick metal, easy to trigger with your thumb, feel like they will stand up to some horse nudging and butt rubbing, and seem like they will be rust resistant. I can’t think of anything that would improve their quality. Perfect!

It's a double end clip and replaces one that broke on a fence. It's got good weight, but is likely not the highest grade of stainless. I checked with a magnet, it does stick, but not as strong as with mild steel. Overall this clip is plenty sufficient for what we need. Added bonus, it came in a small plastic container that can be used for other small parts.
