These broom ends seem to be a good casting and did fit our broom handle. They include a packet that has wood screws, rivets, and threaded screws with lock nuts. You choose one method for securing the end to the handle. I wanted to use the threaded screws with lock nut but apparently nobody checked the screw length before packing them. The screws don't make it all the way through the casting. I had some screws of my own so that is what I used.

repaired two of my brooms with these. simply cut of old fitting and installed these with just a touch of wood glue during assembly, rock solid repair, will buy again when needed verses buying whole new handles
