We have a toddler who likes to copy everything we do. We found these for our gas stove and I am happy with them! I was worried at first I was going to break my stove because they are a little thick, which is how they are supposed to be! However you just have to be careful not to just shove them in. They should only go to a certain point. They are easy for you the parent to remove to cook but they would be hard for little hands. Highly recommend!

These stove knob locks are fantastic! They're easy to use, effective, and not bulky like other childproofing options. I love that they provide peace of mind knowing my stove knobs won't accidentally get turned on. They're also great for preventing accidental bumps and spills while cooking. Highly recommend!

The FFyeiiy Gas Stove Knob Locks provide an effective safety solution for households with children or dementia patients. Made from durable, heat-resistant material, these covers fit most standard stove knobs, preventing accidental ignition. The transparent design allows for easy visibility, and installation is simple without the need for tools. While they offer strong protection, some users may find them slightly bulky or tricky to open for frequent use. They work well for childproofing but may not fit all stove models perfectly. Overall, a reliable safety product for preventing potential kitchen hazards.

Gas stove with five burners. Bought these to stop the cats (when I'm not looking) from accidentally turning them on. Only one did the job. Great idea but such a fail. Being returned.

The 5 pack of Gas & Electric Stove Knob Locks (ASIN: B0DPG1H4NQ) are effective at preventing the knob on the stove from being rotated / turned on. They are simple and easy to apply. They did not mar or damage the stove front of my stove or the knobs. The amount of pressure needed to stop the rotation of the knob may vary for each knob on the stove. Therefore, the knob should be tested or verified each time the clip is inserted to ensure the pressure used is adequate to prevent the knob’s rotation. The direction that the clip sticks out should also be considered. For example, for stoves with the knob on the front, the clip should possibly be sticking straight up. This position would probably make it less likely that a child would inadvertently grab the clip and pull it out, releasing the knob. Also, using too much pressure when inserting the clip can make the knob pop off of the stove. While that would make it unlikely that a child could turn the stove on, it would likely be very irritating for the adult to have to find, grab, and secure the knob in place on the stove, and then again attempt to reinsert the clip at an effective pressure.Space considerations around the knob should also be evaluated. In the stove pictured the one knob could not be locked as there was inadequate room to insert the clip.

I'm not sure how I feel about these gas stove locks. First, you have to be careful putting them on and taking them off so you don't end up repeatedly scarring your stove. Secondly, with one of them on I was still able to turn the knob a little; just not as easy. The stove locks MIGHT prevent accidental bumping. If a child is playing with the stove knobs, I believe the possibility of turning on the gas exists.

These work very well on my oven. They're made out of a thin but sturdy plastic; it's not bendable or easily warped, which is great, especially if your stove/oven tends to run a little warm. They fit on easily just by removing the knob, sliding on, and then putting the knob back on. You can wiggle the knob, but not adjust it and definitely cannot turn it on. Cat proof, too!
