This protects my toddler from the stove top (or vice-versa lol). It holds well even when he tries to push it down with all his weight (for a few seconds at least).It also doesn't look like an eye-sore so that is a plus!

The product was to keep my toddler from touching a hot stove top. We cleaned with alcohol prior to applying, but there was a pot of boiling water that bubbled over and the water streamed over the front of the oven, causing the sticky part of the application to unstick.We were already having issues with this coming off before this...If you are willing to glue it permanently to your oven, maybe it will work...but other reviews say it melts over time (though I didn't have this issue).Was able to get 3 weeks of use before getting so frustrated with having to try to put it back up everyday since the applicators don't stay stuck.

This is exactly what I was hoping for when I made the purchase. This was very easy to install. Will definitely keep my toddler Grabbing things off the stove when they are hot. Guards can be easily removed so they don’t have to be up all the time. Can be used on different size stoves. Wonderful product!

During kitchen remodeling, I purchased a new range and this shield to help protect the knobs from grease splashes. I mounted the shield with the three sticky pads it came with, but days later the shield kept falling forward because the sticky pads where not holding it up very well. I looked for alternatives ways to mount it such as using thin hanging wires or magnets, but the magnets I had on-hand were not strong enough and were susceptible to scratching the stove, and using a wire didn't feel safe because I didn't want it hurting someone. When I saw my zip ties, I know that would be a good safe solution as long as I didn't cut the ends and if I could get it to work, and lucky so, it did work, and it worked very well. see the photos. The zip ties holds the shield very well, and I don't have to put any adhesives on the range. This would be a five star review if it had better mounting, but because I had to go through this, three stars is justifiable. Cheers!

This guard is great and easy to assemble and attach to stove. I have not had any issues with either the adhesive or with it melting like other reviewers have. Even when baking in the oven and cooking on top at the same time, no issues. I like how they extend past the edges of the stove on both sides so little hands can’t sneak up the side. Tips that may help: I put everything together first (without the adhesive) and held it up to the stove so I could make sure the clips were the correct direction and the shields angled away from the stove. Make sure you put the adhesive on the matching sides of the clips because they do have a slight angle where you slide the shield into it. For attaching, I put the adhesive on the clips and then attached the clips to the front of stove. I left them alone over night and then used them the next day. It’s been a few months and all is still working great! Also, we have a glass top stove. Not sure how they hold up on coil or gas stoves.

Leà algunas reseñas no muy buenas pero la verdad es que nos ha sorprendido gratamente. TenÃa miedo por la forma en que sobresale por sà abultara mucho en la cocina pero no ha sido el caso y no nos es incomodo cocinar con ella (también decir que somos altos e igual esto nos facilita llegar al fondo del vitro sin problema). El otro temor era porque hay que pegarlo en vez de atornillarlo y pensé que igual caerÃa enseguida, especialmente con la grasa de la cocina. Pues llevamos varias semanas con la barrera y sigue en su sitio, además para darle una limpieza más a fondo se puede quitar de sus fijadores y volver a poner. Mi hija de 3 años está justo en las fase de intentar tocar el vitro para ‘cocinar’, y con la barrera aunque hay que vigilarla aún la verdad es que nos quedamos mucho más tranquilos. Lo recomiendo totalmente. La única duda que tendrÃa es en caso de tener una cocina súper estrecha si el hecho de que sobresalga la barrera podrÃa suponer un problema, en mi caso no serÃa. Solo habrá que esperar para ver cuánto dura el pegamento al final - supongo que en caso de caer se podrÃa volver a pegar con las titpicas tiras adhesivas. En nuestro caso si nos dura un año está bien porque no tendremos más hijos y para entonces la pequeña estarÃa menos arriesgado en este sentido, o eso espero.

Recommend for anyone with curious toddlers! Better safe than sorry! Easy to install and very much what I needed for peace of mind! I agree with other reviews, in regards to the adhesive which is not too strong especially us who bake a Lot so the tape got a little loose. So we ended up putting some 3M tape and so far so good!!

Il fatto che i piani siano inclinati lo rende un buon prodotto anche per pentole con manico e bordi medi, con bordi più bassi è più difficoltoso cuocere. La fattura dell'oggetto è nel complesso buona, la pulizia facile e anche il montaggio/smontaggio. Il nastro bi adesivo non è indicato per le superfici porose o irregolari, infatti si è staccato dal nostro piano di lavoro in meno di 48 ore dal fissaggio, consiglio a chi ha una superficie liscia come acciaio (non satinato) o vetrificate di utilizzare il nastro bi adesivo in dotazione, per tutte le altre superfici acquistare del silicone dal ferramenta di fiducia e fissare con esso le guide

Had this for 5 years, and have been very happy with it. I have 2 small children, and I couldn't imagine cooking without one of these. Moved house, so I bought another one. Absolutely fantastic. The day before it arrived, it became clear just how accident-prone this hob is. Relieved to have it. Get one!Hint: it's much more stable if you don't extend it at all when you fit it. Otherwise, there's every chance it will detach under its own weight.

i followed the directions to a T and all was good- my son couldn't reach the stove- until i cooked two times and the sticky tabs fell off. this was pretty worthless. great idea, but it doesn't last.update- i put 6 pieces of velcro on the stove and plastic parts that i bought from dollar general- it works WAY better! it stays put and doesn't fall off. not too easy to pull it off, making it near impossible for my kid to take off and making it easier to clean around it. all i used was heavy duty velcro strips from dollar general. such a cheap fix. so, i would definitely purchase this product just for the shield.
