The finish on the old folding doorknobs was worn off and cut through the finish on the door. These back plates are large enough to cover up the damage on the doors.

Beautiful pieces! They fit 2 of the 3 types of knobs we needed them for. The leopard knob shown had too large of a base to fit into the recessed area of the plate, so the screw would not grab. We may try a longer screw, but that would leave the knob sitting out farther than we would prefer. Just a note to consider. Overall, very satisfied.

Lowe's and Home Depot are not selling any backplates anymore. So happy to have found these, and they are perfect with the closet pulls I picked out- way nicer to finish a closet pull with a back plate because it covers up the scratches the old door pull made on the door. Makes the door pull sturdier too.

Great size to cover additional holes in furniture bought from big chain furniture dealer when replacing knobs to match decor.Seems to be good quality.

I really like how they go with the pulls I had bought previously. They were easy to install. Unfortunately, the 2nd order did not come with all the different size screws and my husband had to buy some to finish installing them.
