Great "little" big strike plate. Exactly what was needed fit-wise. Metal could be a tad thicker, but it has worked well since installation. Easy to fit and to secure. Would I buy again? If the need was there--yes.

The door of the house we bought has a really wide jamb on the door going out to the garage. The builder used a standard striker plate and I suppose everyone since has just been fine with letting the the door latch drag across the wood jamb. Well, the wood got worn away enough that the latch would get caught there and the door was difficult to open from outside.This fixed that. I'm telling you I don't understand why some people live with something irritating like this when the fix is so cheap. Well, to be fair, I already had a chisel so I could install the plate right...

Took a long time to find this extended lip strike plate. I can hide the strike mark from the recessed door and have a professional looking setup. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Ok, so this was little long for my application. I cut about a 3/8" off, rounded the corners on the grinder and rebent the end. My depth didn't fit any off she shelf products. Happy and worked well.

Couldn't find a strike plate of this size in any local shop. This one is sturdy, and the bronze finish matches my existing hardware. Works as intended!
