I got these to make a name sign for my daughter when she is born. They are so smooth and really thick and will really stand the test of time! The material is very clear and not cloudy at all.

I recently got a CNC and have some items I need to mill out of acrylic plastic, which requires a particular type of acrylic ("cast" acrylic as opposed to "extruded").These platters work excellently. They mill quickly and cleanly, and required very little clean-up around the edges. Similarly, cutting, sanding, or engraving them with power tools works great (band saw, Dremel, etc.), requiring very little extra work to deburr or smooth any edges.The only "negative" was that removing the protective film was difficult, but since you only have to do this once, and it protects the smooth surface until you're ready to use it, this isn't really a bad thing, just a note. And remember: there's a protective film on _both_ sides of the disc, which will need to be removed before the clarity of the disc will be visible.

I love that there are two options for thickness. I received the 1/4†which is perfect for my needs.Pros: size was accurate, disk is sturdy, came in two pack, fast shipping, and there was a protective screen on both sidesCon: no hole in the middle so can’t use it to stack tiers. It is not advertised to have a hole so I’m not taking away a star. It is just something to keep in mind.

These sheets are thick! They are so solid - I don't know if anything could break them. I got these to use as a safe surface for a 3D pen, and it works wonderfully! Because they are see-through, you can lay the sheet over what you want to trace and the surface is so thick you don't have to worry about the 3D pen melting it. I've used thin plastic clear sheets, and the pen just melts it. This is the perfect solution.

One of the two sheets has some bits of debris under the protective cover. I pulled the cover off part way and it looks like the debris didn't scratch the acrylic, so this is an inconvenience only. The edges are cut nicely in a perfect circle but are not polished, not an issue for my intended use (3d carve on the surface).Overall a good value

These 2 plexiglass sheets are perfect for making glass mosaic sun catchers. I’ve used glass to make them before but decided to use plexiglass instead as the sheets are lighter weight, less fragile and I can also drill holes in them. The sheets come with protective coating on both sides and once removed the sheets are perfectly clear with no scratches. They’re also thick and sturdy.

Full disclosure - I received this product as a member of the Amazon VINES review program. The comments and opinions are based on my knowledge of similar products and experience using the product listed.I got a vacuum vise for use on my workbench, but the surface of the workbench is textured to the point that the vacuum base of the vise will not hold. I saw this 1/4" thick 8" diameter Plexiglas round sheet and after measuring the base of the vise, determined there was room to spare to mount the vise vacuum base. The smooth surface of the Plexiglas disc allows the vacuum to create a strong seal and holds tightly. By using 1" wide Velcro sticky back strips between the disc and the workbench surface, I can attach the disc and the vise when needed and easily remove them when not required, leaving only the 'loop' portion of the Velcro in place under my rubber work matt. Very clean install and works great. I'm sure this wasn't on the top ten uses list when the discs were designed but it works perfectly for my needs.
