Don't waste your money on this. I bought this on Prime Day thinking it was a good deal. I thought wrong. If someone had given this to me for free I would still throw it away. Messy, unorganized and as cheap as it can be. I would be afraid to use anything in here. Definitely not up to American standards. AND NOT RETURNABLE. Don't make the same mistake I did, DON'T BUY IT.

I bought this first aid kit to put into my hiking bag. It's not fit for that purpose. We'll start with the bag itself. On the outside, it has a classic first aid red color, with a classic cross symbol on one side for easy identification as a first aid kit. This concludes the reasons to buy this first aid kit.Once you open the zipper and look inside, you find two thin mesh panels as the only forms of interior organization, and even those are poor. Many of the smaller items in the kit can move around easily, and there's no other dividers or pockets to hold items in place. Any significant movement can lead to the supplies getting jumbled up, especially if you're moving around. It might be sufficient as a kit stored in a drawer that doesn't go anywhere and is regularly restocked, but not for on the trail. As for the supplies, they're somehow even worse. On my first hike with this kit, I tripped over an exposed tree root and had a minor scrape. Nothing a competent first aid kit should struggle with; a little water to clean up and some band aids would be plenty; some anti-bacterial cream as needed wouldn't be amiss either. The bandaids in this kit wouldn't stick to my skin. I tried twice, but eventually gave up on the hike since I couldn't keep the scrape covered and I knew it was going to be very buggy. I was disappointed, but I figured it might just have been the bandages. I also tried one around a finger; I could slip the bandage off like a ring, but it stuck to the other side of the bandage fine. A few days later, I used more of the supplies for a minor burn from the edge of a hot pan; the tape I used to hold the dressing in place wouldn't stick to the gauze or the skin well. It stuck to itself fine, so twice around the arm it was. Lots of extra tape needed that way, and it would have been a bigger issue if I hadn't used a bandage to wrap around the arm already. I can't trust any of the adhesives to work on skin, which is a crucial part of first aid, and so there's little value in this kit at all. A bunch of cheap supplies in a bag that looks like it can't hold up to active use without becoming a mess is not a first aid kit for hiking or anywhere else.

this first aid kit was really comprehensive. it had a lot of good materials for a starter kit and is perfect for our medicine cabinet.

I love that this is such a huge variety! It comes with a lot of stuff I hopefully will never need, but because it came with so much stuff, i can now rest assure knowing that if I need anything in the future on a rainy day, it is there for me!
