This seemed like a great replacement bulb. It was easy to install. It worked well for a few hours and then stopped working. Tried some troubleshooting by reseating it etc. to no avail. Because of safety considerations, you can only dispose off bulbs such as these at designated locations. So that is an additional hassle one has to deal with. You may be better off looking for other options among Amazon's large selection. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

I have an inexpensive bug zapper that I bought from Amazon a few years ago that had the bulb go out. After taking a look on Amazon, I found this really similar bulb and turns out it fit okay and worked perfectly! It's even brighter than the last one! Happy to give life back to my old zapper.One note about it fit: It was a little too snug getting the bulb in and out, I'm assuming that's from heat expanding and contracting after years of use. So I used a heat gun to lightly soften the plastic housing and then it fit like a glove!I included a photo of the bug zapper's model (IKO-918AE) in my attached photos just in case anyone has the same one and is wondering if this one is compatible.
