We have used this all summer in our pool. It seems to be good, but about 5 degrees off. Not enough of an issue for us to send back as we know what the temp is when we look.

Once I put the probe in the water it stopped working. Temperature was reading in the 80F degrees, WAY OFF

Been using it for four days without issue. Haven't tested it against for accuracy -- but seems about right. Bought it to get a general idea of the temp in a water preheat tank that I have wired directly to a couple of spare solar panels. Works fine for that.

I use this to monitor the temperature in my camper fridge in the summer (great to be able to see the temp without opening the door), and for sourdough bread fermentation in the winter. I don't like having a bunch of bluetooth signals constantly bombarding me...Anyway, it worked great. For about a year. Now it only reads "Lo". For what it's worth, the company was very responsive and sent me a replacement right away. I'll see how long this one lasts. Might just be that with cheap, wired gauges like this, I can't expect long life. That seems to be the trend in general these days. Too bad. 20 years ago a product like this would easily last a decade.2022 Update:A year seems to be it for this thing. Replacement now dead. These all seem to be similar quality...so I'll stick with this one. I'm buying them two at a time now so I don't need to be without when one dies. Annoying, but that's the "price" we pay for inexpensive goods.

I use it to measure temperature of our goldfish pond (to adjust what we feed in winter) and to track our refrigerator temperature. Works well for both uses. It’s surprisingly small, but easy to read and adjusts in a few seconds.

Love this little temperature sensor - was exactly what I needed to monitor the (external) temperatures on my upgraded Sur Ron battery! Where I live, it gets very cold - and batteries tend to lose capacity in cold temperatures. So... I used aluminum tape to stick usb-powered heating pads onto the outside of the battery, stuck the temperature sensor in on a separate part - a little bit away from the heating pads - and then insulated the whole thing with foam. My battery's external temperature went from being around 32 degrees to around 58 degrees! Meaning my range went from around 60% back up to around probably 95%! :) And this little sensor allowed me to monitor it carefully - even while riding around.I just stuck the digital part into my phone holder. The LCD also seems to do surprisingly well in cold temperatures - where most LCD's start to fade and update slow in cold temps. It also seems to match pretty closely to what my inferred thermometer tells me (tested before I insulated everything).5 stars all the way.

I purchased this to take the finger temperature of clients during biofeedback. It is accurate since it gives the same temperature as a similar device made for this purpose. The sensor tip seems sturdy, but time will tell. I wish the wire would be longer since it can’t reach from their chair to my desk. Also I wish there would be hook on it so I could attach it to my computer. Good value for the money. This company could access a new customer-set w these minor changes!

From the onset I purchased a digital thermometer from Qooltek and it arrived quickly, but the unit did not function as it was supposed to, and the instructions were "very vague" to say the least. Upon making my initial review, I received an email from "Rose" at Qooltek explaining the situation to me and that I had apparently received a non-functioning unit.Rose explained to me that the reading "Lo" means the unit is bad. She informed me that they would send me a brand new thermometer. The following is my update on said thermometer:"Product update. Upon posting initial review, I was contacted by "Rose" from Qooltek and she told me that I had received a defective thermometer and that they would make it right by sending me out a new unit. I was impressed that companies DO actually read their customer reviews of products. Rose explained to me via email that if digital readout was depicting Lo....then the unit was defective. ""Anyway, Rose did send a brand new unit out and I am happy to say that it arrived intact and it works quite well. I use this thermometer to check water temperature in pex line coming from wood boiler outside into my basement.""My initial review has been upgraded to "I highly recommend this company and their products". Instructions can be found on their website and to be honest, not much to read except how to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Rose explained to me that the probe head does NOT have to be inserted dead on...it can lie next to what ever it is you are checking on temp. Enough babbling. Qooltek made good on their product and Rose was indeed a pleasure to chat with and she will make whatever issues you had...right. I highly recommend Qooltek."Upon receiving the new thermometer, my STAR rating goes to a HIGH FIVE!
