Your cart is empty.The Makita 16" Guide Bar is a commercial guide bar. It has a laminated body and is designed for use with low profile chains for increased cutting efficiency. The slim contour provides less weight and increased maneuverability. The small radius sprocket nose reduces the potential for kickback compared to standard-size noses. It is ideal for use with Makita LXT Cordless Chain Saws (XCU02, XCU03, XCU04, XCU07, XCU08, and XCU09, sold separately), Gas Chain Saws (EA3200SRBB, EA3201SRBB, EA3500SRDB, EA3601FRDB, and EA4300FRDB, sold separately), and Corded Chain Saws (UC3551A and UC4051A, sold separately).

i bought this to replace the 14" bar that i chewed up on my 36V Makita. of course i got the upgraded chain to go with it, and MAN! this thing chews through trees now. that 14" was ok before i slung the chain (maintenance, people), but when i put the 16" and the new chain on, i mean, WOW! it acts like a gas powered now. i know, "its a battery driven -insert item here-, it'll never perform like a gas powered." but it is definitely a BEAST compared to what it was. i no longer view it as just "a home-owners utility tool". If you want the same results, GET YOU SOME UPGRADES! also, i should mention that the 2 bars i bought came well packaged, they are very straight and the guide track is without blemish. that part is very important... did i mention the part about slinging a chain? Be safe people.

Bought this for my Makita X2 LXT cordless 16" chain saw. I messed up the original by getting it too much in the dirt trying to take out many stumps. Lesson learned.Came in plastic hanging retail pack. Fit my saw perfectly, just like the original. Works perfectly, just like the original.Nothing but good to say.
