This is not very good quality. The pads are very uneven, 1" thick on one end and 3" thick on the other end. It will work, but I would not recommend this.

I was looking for a bolster for my restorative practice and this was exactly what I needed. It is firm but comfortable. The size is just right. It gives the illusion of a standard bolster but it can flip open. Great value for your money.

I’ve wanted a yoga bolster for a long time but couldn’t find a reasonably priced one. So when I found this one I was excited! It is made well and I like that it folds in half and is covered in a velvety material.

So, as a bolster for yoga, I felt like this worked as it should. I really liked the softness of the cover (though you will likely definitely need to wash it as it will retain fluids (I'm talking about that if you sweat on it, it's going to smell after awhile, yuck!). It felt pretty firm to me, I had no issues with that anyway.I have to say that I really enjoy that it folds up or out. I feel like that adds a lot of dimension to it as a tool for exercise as it sort of "doubles" how I can use it. As a mat, a "block", a pillow, to sit on, etc.The zipper zips up and down really well, so although it will obviously be a tight fit returning the foam into the pillow afterwards, I do believe it will be able to be removed for washing when needed. The product page does mention that you can wash by "hand or machine" in cool water and tumble dry low. The fabric is 100% polyester and the foam is a 100% polyurethane pad. The seams inside are serged, which is a nice layer of additional protection for your seams.Overall this is soft on the outside, and hard enough on the inside to make it useful - but not a rock. It possibly could have been a bit harder for yoga, but I like things like this to retain at least *some* softness (personally). I definitely recommend it.

The 2 portions are actually a bit trapezoid. A slight wedge shape. It appears good quality, but comes packed so tightly wrapped in a coil it will take a while to fill out to full size( 2-3 days). I'm on day 3 and portions have not filled out yet. Photos are day 3

The pads are supposed to be 3 inches but only one of them inflated properly. The smaller one is discolored and seems like it had gotten wet before it was shipped.

Product Description posted on Amazon: MABOZOO [brand] Folding Yoga Bolster Pillow, Rectangular Yoga Bolster for Restorative Yoga & Meditation, Professional Yoga Support Pillow Meditation Cushion with Washable CoverPros & Cons of this foam-filled rectangular bolster pillow:Pro - It works great placed under the knees when using an Ab roller, or doing other face-down exercises & stretches on the floor. I don't do yoga, but I intentionally ordered this bolster pillow to kneel on when exercising my abdominal muscles with an Ab roller machine. It also provides awesome padding for the knees while doing partial pushups, down-on-all-fours stretches, looking under a cabinet or the refrigerator for a dropped escapee item, etc., and for sitting upon while doing various exercises & stretches from a seated position on the floor, too.Pro - Even though the two pads are permanently hinged together, this product can be used while still folded up double. When used doubled-over like this, the dual foam-filled pillow pads create a really, really deep cushion that's perfect for kneeling on with a damaged or badly arthritic knee (or for kneeling on with a pair of bad knees). This bolster pillow might be something useful to keep around the house if occasional access to a very low cabinet is needed and there's no one there to help.Pro - The soft, easily cleaned fabric cover zips on & off, so washing it is no problem at all.Con - At $31.99 (the price at the time this review was written), this bolster pillow is somewhat overpriced, probably because of the "Crystal Velvet Cover", and perhaps because the marketing of this product is directed more or less exclusively toward yoga enthusiasts. These folks, in general, may not be quite as price-conscious when buying "yoga equipment" as your run-of-the-mill exercise enthusiast (like myself) is when purchasing "exercise accessories" like this item. I know, the latter supposition may sound stereotypical (and every group has many members who are exceptions to any general rule for any group they're in), but this is a generic observation that can easily be extended to countless other groups OF (not groups WITH) enthusiastic members. Serious fishermen, for example, aren't nearly as cost-conscious when buying tackle as is the occasional weekend sportsman (like myself) when they/we go shopping for lures, bobbers, line, and other fishing paraphernalia, right? Enthusiasts are often willing to pay a premium (sometimes even a VERY HIGH premium) to acquire gear they want or need to diligently pursue their passion, where a less-interested person isn't willing to do so.All in all, I like this product and recommend buying it for any of the above-mentioned uses. You're gonna love the way this "Crystal Velvet" feels in your hands, and so will anyone you might give this to as a gift. Even though it's a bit pricey, it is a good foam-filled bolster pillow. 4 stars
