Good metal build that will be sturdy for any step up needs. The label isn’t blaring as I’ve seen on some other rings - nice and subtle.No issue with threads as can happen the first time using a new ring and as with any ring any over tightening will cause some headache when time comes to unscrew.Great build / good threads / subtle label / good price….highly recommend

This magnetized step-up ring allows me to use my 82mm Kase magnetic filters on some of my Nikon lenses that have a 62mm filter thread.While the magnetism isn't quite as strong as Kase's magnetic adapter ring, it's more than adequate for most 82mm filters. When used with Kase's circular polarizer, the magnetism is too weak to hold the rear half of the filter stationary when you're turning the polarizing lever. That's a problem but as long as you're aware of it, you can get around it by holding the rear ring of the CPL.
