The extra-fine, hollow-ground blades are hand-honed on both the inside and outside edges. The silky smooth cutting action makes them perfect for finishing and light work. Not recommended for all-purpose use. Compact screw/bushing adjustment provides exact tolerances to ensure correct screw tension is maintained. Includes green silencer and thumb guard. Each shear comes with a black mock crocodile tri-fold case with a magnetic closure. Measures 7-1/2-inch by 3-inch blade length.

So I used to own giebs and then I went to using swivel only I wanted to try out these shears because of the difference with the shank and they are absolutely smooth and wonderful. I’m going to get a bigger size next. Professional dog groomer review.

Perfect! I only wish they had autopilot!!!! Quality is impeccable! I’m not even a groomer…just an at home doggy mommy who thinks she is. I love these scissors…my dogz abhor them! I don’t blame them! I’d not like them either if I had to wear a haircut from myself!
