First of all nevermind that the box was damaged upon arrival. I opened the box to find it exactly like this. Broken. As you can see I haven't taken it out completely from the box and there is nothing protective inside the box to keep the products from being damaged. The shipping damage is one thing, but the seller should have added better protection than just placing it in flimsy a box. I would fix it myself, but it's too expensive to arrive broken. Overall the product looks good and well made. Requesting a replacement.

I circled this a while before buying because really, that's a lot of money, but I'm glad I did. Sturdy. Stores fall produce well into winter just fine in the garage in a cold climate, and holds a lot.

Paid $400 for a box of delicate wood parts shipped with no insulated packing. The slats are held together with tiny wire brads similar to common sewing pins many of which popped out during shipping. We are very disappointed in the quality. Luckily, my husband is a DIYer and was able to reassemble the rack with proper hardware he had on hand. Stick to brick and mortar stores so you can see what you're actually spending your money on.

After reading all the reviews, I was worried about buying this rack. Mine was perfect. I understand why it can break with ease. It is made in China and does not have any padding inside. My box was all teared up. Lucky me, nothing broke. It looks good and smells fantastic.

Love this orchard rack. Such a beautiful piece and the natural smell of the wood is amazing (to me at least). One drawer was chipped which was disappointing but I am using it anyway and it's not overly noticeable. There is so much space, even on top. I highly recommend.

What I want to tell you about first is the AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I received this a leg on one of the sides was broken, It was obvious when I opened the box. I was very disappointed and was about to print a return label from Amazon then I thought well let me call the company directly. I left a message on the phone and then sent an email. This was late afternoon early evening Pacific Time. When I got up the next morning there was an email waiting for me. The replacement part was already on the way. Now their official policy says up to 72 hours to return a call. They beat that by a mile. The replacement part showed up today and I just finished putting it together. I had no trouble putting it together myself. I have a construction and wood working background which made it a little easier.Now for the quality of the piece. Absolutely superb, the craftsmanship is excellent. It is a straight forward piece, however there are a lot of parts that could be messed up in assembly but they are perfect. The individual drawer rails are screwed to the frame not brad nailed. The screws make it much stronger. The price made me hesitate at first, I bought the 9 drawer, because I know I can build it myself. Here is the thing, I would spend more buying the wood to build it than the total cost of this unit with shipping. If everything went perfectly it would take me a minimum of a full day to build it and it could not be any better than what I have. I will be buying more and I could not recommend this product and particularly this company more highly. Thank you so much for the excellent product and incredible customer service!Michael

Nice material (the cedar smells awesome down in our enclosed cold storage room), and the pieces are cut with precision. Putting together would work best with two people, or a handful of spring clamps like I did. Both sides come fully assembled, so all you have to do is attach four cross braces (two front, and two back), and the X brace across the back. The drawers are also completely finished, so all you have to do is slide them in to place when the frame is done. It has more storage room than it appears to have. We poured 15# of potatoes in one drawer with some room to spare. With all the braces installed, seems like it will be sturdy enough. My single complaint is that the drawers are not braced in any way. When you slide them in and out, it is very easy to make them rack, which twists the drawer out of square. With care you can overcome this, but it does take a little effort to keep them square and not catching on the frame on the way in.

I wanted an open rack that would allow plenty of airflow and storage in my Florida home that stays at 79 degrees all summer. The design is perfect and doesn't take up much room for the amount of storage space you get. It was easy to put together with 2 people. The only flaw is that the drawers are a little hard to close all the way and must be jiggled a little to get them to close completely. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice airy place to store veggies and fruits that you'd prefer not to refrigerate.
