This automatic feeder would not fit on my 75-gallon tank without trimming away some of the plastic on my aquarium frame. After I trimmed the plastic on the frame the fish feeder was mounted to the top of the aquarium. I have it programed to feed the fish every 12 hours. You need to adjust the feeder opening so that the right amount of food is dispensed. You will need to monitor the feeding a few times to make sure that you are not dispensing too much food. I like it because now I don't need to be home to feed the fish or have someone come over to feed the fish. I purchase 2 of these for each of my tanks, I am happy with the purchase. It even has a little light that tells you that the batteries are working. Thanks for a wonderful product. I use flake food, and I had to kind of grind up the food so it would fit through the tiny opening. It works just fine.

Purchased for a school fish tank. The huge goldfish love it. Set up is pretty easy and there is a video to watch. No complaints.

I just ordered my 3rd for a 7 gallon rimless as I’ll be doing some traveling. I’ve had the other 2 for a month now and have absolutely no problem. I do crush up my flake and dried worms for both the babies tank and the larger one. I use the every 12 hours and have not had an issue with the timer or the amount of food dispensed. I use the smallest for my 10 gallon baby tank and just a little more for my 30 gallon. And while the 7 gallon may get a little more food than I would normally feed, that’s ok for short trips. Highly recommend. Batteries have lasted for at least a month, good quality and sturdiness.

I bought this feeder to feed our turtles while we were gone 5 days. I love that you could set the timer. Because it only issued a small amount of feed at one time we set it to feed frequently so the turtles had enough to eat throughout the day. It was battery powered and it seemed to work well. We only used it once during our vacation so I can say that it did its job for the time we were gone.

Installed as the directions indicated in the evening and in the morning it was in the bottom of the tank and large amounts of food littered an otherwise perfect tank

This was incredibly easy to set up and works great with the tank. The only improvement I'd suggest is an option to program custom times, rather than being limited to the preset intervals.

I was skeptical to trust an auto feeder to feed my fish over an extended vacation, but this item worked fantastic. It took a moment to get the right timing and food amount established, but no worries after that. New, fresh batteries have been going strong for a month now. Food amounts have been consistent. Great, reliable product if you need to leave your finned friends.
