My daughter loved the look of this shoe. However, even though the shoe has laces, the top of it is one piece, so you really can’t tighten it. We will be returning because even with the laces tightened and it being the right size this shoe slips right off her foot.

These are very sturdy, and my kid says they are really comfortable once on. My 7 year old can tie her shoes, but still had some difficulty pulling these on. They run slightly small. I used to work at a children's specialty shoe store, and I have a child's brannock measuring device - she is measuring right at a 12.5 on both feet, and the 13 fits RIGHT NOW, without a lot of room to grow. I think I would have gone with a 13.5 or 1. The rhinestones are awesome, and these are really good looking shoes.
