Working with Colour Mill Oil Based food colouring
What is it?
Unlike conventional gel-colours, Colour Mill oil based pigments are packed to the brim with butter-loving pigment and are ready to seamlessly mix, mingle and be topped with sprinkles. Free from fillers and gums, their fade resistant formula is here to brighten up your baking and give your occasions the colour they deserve.
How to use it?
Before getting started, use the bottle lid to pop a hole in the seal and give the bottle a good shake. Colour Mill pigments pack a punch so take it slow when colouring, starting with just a few drops and mixing as you go. Tip: If you have time and for the best results, let your mixture sit overnight.

I've used colour mill many times but never sage green which I needed for a celebration cake. Needed quite a few drops to get the colour I needed but much better than other liquid colours.

The ink is very pigmented so you'll only need like 2 drops depending on how dark you want the color. It'll also stain your fingers so be careful. Definitely worth it!

Mixes so well and is the exact color on bottle. Plus I love I can make my buttercream lighter or darker with the amount used. Doesn’t change the taste of my buttercream.

I will never use another food coloring for my chocolate covered treats! These colors are so vibrant and the chocolate never changes texture when using these oil based colors!

This is the most beautiful pink color perfect for melted chocolate! If you are looking to dye chocolate this brand in general is the best one I have ever tried! It has absolutely no taste or smell and has the most beautiful colors! Comes in a good sized bottle (you do not need a lot to dye the chocolates! Great value for money. Very easy to use. Just melt your chocolates then add a couple drops and mix and continue adding until desired color! Overall would order again in every color!

I purchased the Colour Mill Oil-Based Food Coloring in Hot Pink to make a LOL Doll cake for my niece, and it worked beautifully! The color is incredibly vibrant and exactly what I was hoping for. It mixed easily with my buttercream and didn’t cause any issues with texture or consistency. I was especially impressed that it didn’t alter the taste of the frosting or create any bitterness, which can sometimes happen with food colorings.The 20 milliliter bottle was more than enough for my project, and I had plenty left over. Overall, this food coloring was a great choice, and I’ll definitely be using it again for future cake decorating projects. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to achieve bright, bold colors without compromising on taste or quality!

Love this brand, the color is always great and baking with these is great no extra taste. They color wasn’t as bright as most of the colors I use from this brand I actually had to use alot to get the res color I was looking for ! This bottle is easy to use the bottle size was accurate but I feel for what you pay the bottle size should be bigger these are so expensive for what you truly get. I use these brand a lot for my sweet treats but it can get pricey.

This oil based food colouring is great itself, but unfortunately has been shipped incomplete because of missing closing lid. Disappointed with Amazon employee who packed it.
