Operation:
1. We already inserted battery ,the LCD will display the real-time water temperature. There is a battery case under the cpetsma logo. Pull it down to replace battery then push upward to close it.
2. Remove the paper, stick this aquarium thermometer digital water temperature gauge on to a transparent tinted background.
3. It is well installed.
4. If you want to switch C / F, press the C/ F selector on the left .

This thermometer works pretty good but you need to be standing at a certain angle in order to see the temperature. the numbers could be a bit bolder so you can see it better but overall its ok and works well. It comes with an extra battery which is good and just be sure to place it in the right location before removing the tape to stick it on because it sticks on well and does not come off very easy.

This thermometer was great at first, but stopped working within a couple of months and a new battery did not help. The item supposedly came with a one year warranty, but no way to take advantage of it... My messages to the seller were ignored. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very clear to read the temperature is near enough .My internal thermometer read 25.5 and this 25.3 so it's very close and considering it sticks on outside of tank that's a lot more accurate than I was expecting .But the clarity of view is 5 stars big visible text and the light of tank itself provides illumination, what a great idea .A must buy for any aquarium

I was very skeptical that this would be anything but accurate but it is... placed in a lower corner of my tank as to not block any view, stuck great. Let it acclimate a while and then took my probe thermometer and put that into the tank water, as spot on as one can get, it reads within .2 degrees of my probe! I was expecting at least 2 degrees or more off, but only .2, I'm very happy with that!

This is a great product. But the adhesive is weak and fell off and hit the floor. I followed instructions for placement and it did not last.

El aspecto parecÃa adecuado.Sin embargo, en menos de un dÃa se despegaba y se caÃa al suelo.Parece ser que la doble cara no funciona, puesto que la cara que debÃa estar pegada al termómetro, se ha despegado y ahora tengo que despegar el film adherido al cristal.Hacer constar que se ha vuelto a intentar pegar varias veces y si bien el adhesivo parece funcionar, a las pocas horas, se vuelve a caer.En estas circunstancias es difÃcil darle uso.

Read some negative reviews and chose to cautiously try this one. I like the larger display. My experience is very positive. First. I wanted a simple no frills thermometer. This provides exactly that. No alarms etc. I just wanted to see the temp. I placed it out of the way in a corner of the tank. I can read it from four feet away. Perfect. Secondly the accuracy is within .5 degrees as verifiable using a digital probe… as compared to the “strip “ temperature thingy that came with the heater I got which read about two degrees too low. And, it came with a spare battery. Could not be more pleased 😀
