This digital thermometer is a convenient and reliable addition to any aquarium or terrarium setup. The LED display is bright, crisp, and incredibly easy to read, making it simple to quickly check your tank’s temperature. I’ve placed these on my aquarium and terrarium, and they’ve proven to be fairly accurate—always within a fraction of a degree compared to my traditional thermometer. That’s more than good enough for my fish and reptiles.The sticky backing adheres well to the glass, and installation was effortless. I also appreciate the sleep feature that saves power by turning the display off automatically. However, the sensitivity is a bit of a downside—just handling the thermometer during setup caused the display to activate multiple times. Additionally, the timeout could be extended; I’d prefer the display stayed on for 10 seconds rather than cutting off so quickly.One other small quirk was the mention of a protective cover in the instructions, which either wasn’t included or was imperceptible. Also, not sure if the battery is replaceable - it does mention a 3V battery that is supposed to last a couple years but more information should have been provided. Despite these minor drawbacks, the thermometer is user-friendly, works reliably, and is a great value as a two-pack. If you’re looking for a modern, sleek, and functional way to monitor temperatures, these thermometers are a fantastic choice.

I like having an easy-to-read thermometer on my tank, and this fits the bill. These thermometers are fairly small, and I use them on the sides of my tanks in order to not block the view. There's an adhesive ring around the metal temperature sensor that goes against the glass.It's easy enough to touch them to read the temperature, and the display turns off after 5 seconds to conserve the battery. They seem accurate compared to the thermometer inside my tank as well. Since I have two fish tanks, the pack of two was perfect for me.It uses a coin battery, but I don't see a way to open it and replace the battery when it dies. Since it will likely last a couple of years I'm not too concerned, but it would be nicer if it wasn't so disposable.

These thermometers are small, handy, and pretty accurate. I compared it to an internal thermometer and they both read about the same. Easy to apply- just stick on. The adhesive is very sticky- don’t foresee it coming off. They are small enough to not be an eyesore. The screen is very bright and easy to read. Also, comes in a two pack!! Great value, great product, actually ordering more because I accidentally became a fish breeder 🙃

Effective and accurate, within seconds of attaching it to the outside of the aquarium glass it was reading exactly the same temperature as an internal thermometer in the tank. It's not exactly "unobtrusive" with the tempurate display surrounded by a squarish plastic housing, but I stuck it on the outside sidewall of the tank where it won't be so visible esthetically but equally effective.

we've had it a few days.seems ok.that's our turtle,Pong, in the backgroundhe's shiveringhasn't fallen off(the thermometer, not the turtle)maybe a degree or two off(the thermometer);but my turtle is tough--he's a ninja--he can power through flactuating temps.we recommend this thermometer if you have a ninja turtle like ours.

I wanted this for a reptile tank, but it really does need water to even work. It is not what I was looking for. But it does work how it should.
