This company works very strangely. When you visit their website it will state that they don't have your purchase price & request that you enter the amount you paid for said item When you attempt to enter the amount the website restricts you from entering the amount of the product. This in turn prevents you from filing a claim online!My guess is that this is a way to slow down the amount of claims that they receive from customers. If you attempt to update your personal information you are also restricted from doing so on their website. I just paid over $200.00 for their protection plan for coverage on a pricey ring. I'm so glad that I have already seen what I might encounter by visiting their website early and I am prepared. There are NO contact phone numbers displayed for this company. Further, the coverage documents URL (link) embedded within the intial email is also dead; therefore, you CANNOT retreive them to view what your options may be -- if any.Nevertheless, in due dillgence they can expect to be hearing from me as soon as the chat option is available on their website. Directly after this review I'll be contacting Amazon Customer Support to express this to them. This shouldn't be happening to unsuspecting customers when they require access to their protection plans to file a claim should the need should arise._______________________________UPDATE 10/10/2021:After going back and forth with the customer service agent that responds to Amazon Messages I was able to obtain a contact number for Assurant. At the same time I was in chat with customer service on their website. It took me several calls & conversations to get "their" webiste issue remedied.***Please be mindful that the Assurant (360) Lifetime Jewelry Protection Plan coverage extends to everything else BUT your CENTER STONE. If you loose or damage your CENTER STONE you are on your own! Also, be mindful that if you file a claim on the weekends -- you are on your own as customer service is unavailable during the weekends to handle your claim.***Important To Note - Once you purchase this plan that's it if you're past the 30 return period. Not only is your plan going to be PRO-RATED -- you cannot obtan another protection plan through Amazon. Basically, you're stuck with them or you can choose to opt-out by via the cancellation of your plan. DO RETAIN YOUR RECEIPT independent of the Amazon site. More than likely they will request it, if & when they do you'll have it.*The Annoyance: This has been a very fustrating process that took several hours out of my day. Had I have NOT checked my plan I wouldn't have known any of this if you have NOT done this yet you should do so NOW!!! I am here now to save someone else (you) the time. pain, and fustration of this process. I still rate them 1* due to everything that I had to endure.
