Great, high quality, bundle with almost everything I needed for my 97' Camry. The only thing they would need is the tensioner spring and thermostat gasket for a complete kit. While you're down there, don't forget your camshaft, crankshaft, and oil pump seals. The outer pump seal is notorious for hardening and leaking so use a new one and seal it in there with some Ultra-Gray.

This is a high quality kit. Name brand water pump, belt and bearings. The instructions were great too. Only needed hand tools to complete the job. Suggest ordering an oil pump reseal kit which also comes with a crank seal and a cam seal.

Kit was high quality, the pump had the Aisin part number on it, the timing belt lined up with the marks, carefully packaged. Had all we needed for the timing belt, however, since the engine nearly has to be taken apart, it would be a good idea to include the thermostat and gasket for it in this or another kit to take advantage of all the labor that is already happening. We also installed the seals for the crankshaft and camshaft. Bottom line, the car is once again "alive"!

AISIN TKT-002.Missing studs for water pump housing Therefore the old ones have to come out of old pump housing. And they may not come out without stripping threads. And....no tensioner spring.

I purchased the same timing belt kit on December 2019 and I got everything to do the timing belt replacement for a 1997 Toyota RAV4 and I was very satisfied. I purchased it again on May 2, 2020 for a 2000 Toyota RAV4 but this Kit Came without Idler & Tensioner Pulleys, instead I there were only the bearings. (I don't know if the origin it's from the same seller I purchased before). Unfortunately I had to return it.

Worked great. The instructions are really good.Only real downside is the lack of cam, timing cover, and crank seals. Buy that kit when you get this kit. Also doesn't include a fresh tension spring, which is kinda weird. I just checked and reused my old one, it worked fine.Water pump is by far the hardest part. You'll want variety of very small/curved 10mm wrenches to get it disconnected.Don't put sealant on the water pump; use the OEM gaskets only. You need a smaller torque wrench for the water pump install, doing it with a full size 1/2 inch one is a real pain.

GOT THE KIT AND INSTALLED AND EVERYTHING FIT AS IT SHOULD AND SO FAR, AFTER ONLY A MONTH, ITS DOING WELL. BUT !!!! THE TIMING BELT CLEARLY SAYS MITSUBISHI ON IT !!!! I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY TOYOTA AND IT SAID THIS WAS THE MANUFACTURER FOR TOYOTA. SO IT MIGHT NOT BE A BIG DEAL .....BUT I WOULD PAY EXTRA FOR AN ACTUAL TOYOTA BELT !!!!! WISH THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION WOULD HAVE SAID THAT !!!! BUT I KNOW AISIN IS WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE.....BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL IF THE PARTS ARE GOOD !!! MY LAST AFTERMARKET KIT ONLY LASTED ONE YEAR ....SO AGAIN ...TIME WILL TELL ! THESE SHOULD LAST AT LEAST 80K MILES ...AT LEAST!!!! MY LAST KIT....(NOT AISIN BUT BRAND NAME) LASTED ONE YEAR - 20K SO I WAS NOT HAPPY AT ALL. HOPE THIS IS BETTER !!!

Installed as should... good packaging kinda like a shoe box and it has divisors in it keeping the belt separate from the pump so it don’t get pinched.Comes with a mitsubishi timing belt, new bearings, NO NEW SPRING, and all the little gaskets for the water pump.Havnt got the belt on yet but it should run like the old one and these are stamped with “made in Japan†so you know it’s good OEM parts, exact same brand that came off my car just went back on!

This is a great kit. I have used these twice. You get a Mitsuboshi timing belt, Koyo tensioner and idler, Aisin water pump, and a bag of gaskets. The gaskets include the thermostat gasket, all three gaskets for the water pump (one steel gasket, one o-ring, and one rubber gasket). You also get 4 new studs for the new water pump. Lastly, you get an instruction book that has the torque values and other important information on it.My only complaint is that the shipper sent it in the box, which no extra paper wrapping on the water pump, so the water pump punched holes in the box. If you are going to send this in the box (and not double-boxed), then please wrap the water pump in paper, and it won't punch holes in the box.

This was an important set to me. My water pump failed, which busted the timing belt (which was likely replaced less than 60k miles prior just based on appearance...). My set came with Koyo idlers, good gaskets, and a Mitsuboshi timing belt (made in the USA, if anyone's curious). And, of course, the Aisin water pump, which had the word "TOYOTA" scratched off of it.Well, what can I say other than this set has worked great. The only thing this set could use is a tensioner spring (BUY A NEW TENSIONER SPRING EVERY TIME YOU BUY A KIT LIKE THIS), which is something worth replacing even IF it looks good. For my 3S-FE for a 1989 Camry, the proper OEM spring is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001G7DAW6 but of COURSE check your specific engine, model, car, and year to make sure. As far as I am concerned... call your local Toyota dealership for the spring before you look online. Trust me, I'd rather have THIS water pump/timing belt kit than a knock-off pump/belt kit which DOES come with the tensioner springs.

Have to edit my review because amazon fitment guide sux azz! Installed everything and went to bolt on my water neck and the diameter was 1/2 inch too small! Luckily that's the only difference so I uninstalled everything and bolted the pump to the old housing. Cost me a good couple hours of labor. Isn't the first time amazon has screwed me on fitment so I guess that makes it my fault. This kit was well packaged and even had a packaging date on the box (60 days old). To me, that means I'm not getting something that has been sitting in a warehouse for several years. Nobody wants to install rubber components when their lifespan is nearing its end. Oh, and as an added bonus to packaging, there are even easy to read instructions! You can't buy dealer parts separately at this price and they are easily dealer quality, especially the water pump which from everything i read is made for toyota. Thank you Aisin for putting together such a nice kit although at 315k miles, i would also like to see a nice complete gasket/seal kit offered as well.
