Work as advertised doesn’t need as much oil on the heating surface as you think. Basically put it on wipe it off that’s enough.. Otherwise, your first crêpe will just fall off back into the batter

Tried it out for the first time today and by the third crepe we had it down. Very easy fast way to make crepes.

I love making crepes for the family. Saw this on FB and had to try it. By far a favorite gadget in my kitchen. Makes perfect crepes/blintz's. This is 8" round. (smaller). If you want larger crepes, use a pan instead.1. Use a crepe recipe. I posted one that works great!2. Get a flat spatula to lift the edges gently.3. Be patient. My first batch was a little tricky. I purchased this item to make lumpia wrappers. I would have been better off using a griddle and a paint brush. They did not cook evenly, and would not release from pan even after oiling it. There is, also, no temperature control.I put it in the cabinet and haven’t used it until today. I purchased in January. I missed my window to return it. So now I’m stuck with a useless, damaged small appliance. I would not recommend.
