It doesn't get any easier to place and use. They come in both black and white. But before you place the first one, play with it so you know which way the clamp opens and whether you want the cable in a vertical or horizontal position. I have "bubbles" where you have to smash the cable through a center groove. What a pain they were! Do yourself a favor and get a whole set of these to replace any other cable organizers. These have a front that lifts up via a spring and then clamps closed. There is no catch - just lift up again to open. I've had my first clip up for about a week and the adhesive seems to be holding well. I'm so glad I now have these instead of the smoosh kind.

TLDR: I loves these so much I got a second pair in blackI got these SPECIALLY to hold the cables that run to my monitor and laptop and other small desk items whe I remove everything off my desk to clean it, this way I dont have to chase the cables from under the desk, and REACH like im Mr. Stretch from the incredible to grab it from over my desk, especially when its over 32" wide!I absolutely love these things, they are STUPID sticky. They recommend to apply it, hold and press it for 5 seconds, and let it cure for 12 hours before you add the wire in there. I didnt bother waiting 12 hours, only 15 minutes or so and the thing is so sticky it feels like its glued on there, when I jiggle it the whole desk moves.It opens up nice and easy, but they are pretty touch to rotate, which is a feature I like as it keeps the cables in the direction you want them, not how gravity takes them.

1. In the cardboard box come 6 white plastic cord organizers. Each with adhesive at the bottom. The box is compact and recyclable.2. It's easy to fix to a surface (clean it first).3. The upper part rotates, so it can be used vertically or horizontally.4. Open the organizer and put the cable in.5. It's a great way to keep your desk organized.6. I found another use: to keep a stylus at hand.7. I totally recommend this.

Nicely made and packaged cable clips. It seems they will stick OK only on very smooth and clean surfaces and even then, you won't want to pull too hard on them. They swivel easily and work OK. All in all, useful within their strength limitations.

These do what they were advertised to do. They hold your cord where you want it to be which is the entire point of the product. That being said, there's not much to gripe or rave about. These do swivel, but I question the strength of the adhesive backs when moving the cord. It's also a little annoying that the hinge to put the cord in through is extremely easy to open. It might just be me, but I don't like having to make sure my cord doesn't fall out of the holder when simply trying to swivel it. Overall, it's not a bad product but I'm sure there are better alternatives out there. I would probably buy these only once, so I wouldn't be devastated if I had to go without them. They do add a bit of convenience to daily life.
