The battery was easier to install than I expected. It took a little longer to fully charge, but it is a definite improvement. I am fully happy with how this battery has worked out and I urge others with this phone to try it.

Got this as one of the more affordable options for replacing a failed and bulging battery in a Motorola One 5G Ace phone. The tools that come with it are cheap, but I did not have any problem getting them to work with taking it apart enough unplug the battery, though I did need to use the backplate of the case to get under the glue holding the original battery in, as none of the supplied tools could get under the battery enough to reach the glue. Won't hold this against my review rating as the price I paid is fair for the battery alone and the tools are an extra to begin with. The battery came about 30% charged and has worked well so far as a replacement in the phone.

My stock battery started overheating and holding very little charge so I ordered this one. The instructions weren't great; but, some online videos got it replaced OK.The first battery worked OK for about two weeks and then it started overheating and rebooting my phone randomly throughout the day. It also would not hold a charge. I could charge it to 100% and within two hours is was below 15%I assumed that was a dud so I replaced it. I put in the new battery last night. It was at 48% when I installed it. Within an hour it was down to 13%. I charged it -- after six hours of charging it moved to 36%. Within an hour it was down again to about 18% and the phone was once again hot.the most annoying part is the second installation resulted in my fingerprint scanner breaking and now that doesn't work and I'm going to have to replace that and get a different battery.

At first I was sceptical, but after using it for a few months it outperforms the original battery. It lasts longer and charges laster.

Finally got a battery that at least reaches OEM capacity, but not advertised capacity. Oh well. Using Accbattery to measure charging from 5% -> 100% and a battery burner app to drain it down, 3 full cycles indicate an average max capacity of 5050mAh.I have not had the battery long enough to go thru 20+ charge cycles to get a feel of reliability yet tho.

Purchased a replacement battery for my Motorola G Optimus. The replacement was easier than I expected (the swollen battery had partially broken the glue seal holding the back plate on the phone). Was able to reuse the residual glue inside the case and periphery so didn't use the kit's adhesive strips. Took about 30 minutes moving slowly and carefully. The electrical connectors are tiny but doable. One of the torx screwdrivers in the kit fit perfectly. The glue leftover after dislodging the battery was enough to keep the new battery in place. Be sure to turn your phone off before swapping batteries and carefully turn it back on to check the new battery before replacing the back plate (so you don't have to unscrew it all over if you messed something up.The new battery worked great. Probably not as long between charges as the original but I wasn't complaining for $20. However, at around 4+ months it started having difficulty taking a charge and died shortly thereafter. Appreciating there are occasional defects in mass-produced batteries, I reached out to the company to ask about their warranty. They responded quickly confirming a 12-month warranty and offering either a replacement or a refund. I asked for a refund and it was processed within 12 hours! The battery gets a 2-star rating, which would have been 4 stars if still working and 5 if equivalent to the original. The company ITMBET gets 5 stars for rapid responsiveness and quick resolution showing they stand by their merchandise. I'll definitely consider buying from them again.

The battery is a perfect fit, both in dimensions and connections, to my Moto G7 Power phone. I had no issues at all with this battery. This kit does not come with the adhesive that holds the back cover on. There was enough of that left to hold the cover in place and I used some Locktite Go2 all purpose gel glue to seal the phone's back cover in place against moisture. By sparingly applying this glue and cleaning up the excess I was able to get a good, moisture proof seal like the phone originally had while still maintaining the correct appearance with no glue showing. This glue works good for this sort of application and I've used to for a water resistant seal on other projects. This glue will also allow removal of the back cover if another battery replacement would ever be necessary for this phone.I was the one who asked the question "What are the plastic adhesive strips for and where do they go?" People replied to say that those were for holding the battery to the frame, not the back cover, to stabilize the battery and prevent damage or disconnection in the event the phone was jostled or dropped. I didn't need them, there was more than enough of the original adhesive under the battery compartment on the frame to hold the new battery in place.Replacing a phone battery is a relatively simple and straight-forward process though a light touch and some delicacy are called for too. There are lots of videos on the 'net showing how to do this, there's likely even one for your specific phone. I found three for my G7 Power phone. The major difference is how the back is attached and what connections to be aware of.This is the fourth or fifth device battery I've replaced so I've become fairly familiar with how to do this and am reasonably confident of success. At least, I haven't screwed up a device ... yet.If you're looking for a kit to replace a battery be sure that it at least has the correct screw drivers in addition to the battery. You won't get anywhere past the back cover if you don't have the right drivers to remove whatever fasteners are used inside the device. When you're up against a bad battery it's not just an inconvenience. The functionality of your device is compromised and may even have become hazardous if for instance the battery is swollen with gas. That was the problem with my G7 Power, the battery had swelled up to the point where the case back was pulled away from the frame and it cracked my glass screen protector. It does not appear to have cracked the screen itself. A swollen battery is bad news, it can cause a fire or heat hazard and the device needs to be repaired with a replacement battery or disposed of ASAP.My phone case masked this swelling and I didn't realize I had a problem until I needed to remove the case one day. The phone still worked fine, the battery duration was excellent and I didn't see anything but some unexplained hair line cracks in the glass screen protector. I just figured I had cracked the glass while the phone was in my pocket but it worked OK anyway so I had no desire to replace the screen protector. Eventually I noticed a slight bulge in the back of the phone's protective carrying case and removed that case to see what was going on. The "glass" (it's actually a thin, tough plastic) back of the phone came off with the case. At that point the bloated battery was fully visible but until then I had no clue there was a problem and I still have no idea how long that problem had existed. So at this point I only have two options. I can either attempt a repair or I can toss the phone and get a new one. The phone works fine and I have zero desire to shell out a pile of money on a new phone so the only real risk is the cost of the new battery. Having replaced batteries previously I was fairly confident that the risk far outweighed the alternatives.Which it did and I now have a new battery that should keep this phone in service for quite a while. Swapping out the battery was well worth the cost and time it took. This battery is rated at 5900 MAH, the original one was marked as rated for 5850 MAH. This is close enough that the difference is negligible. Be sure you're looking at the MAH capacity of any replacement battery you're considering. There are several here for sale on Amazon that are rated at significantly less than the original battery. One of the main features of the G7 Power is the large battery capacity so if you get something less you're taking a step backwards on phone performance. All in all this battery does the job very well. If that changes I'll come back and add to this review.EDIT: 11 APR 2024 -- The battery lasted a bit over two years. I leave my phone plugged in 24/7 whenever possible and that probably adds to eventual battery failure. It should have been replaced a couple months ago but I just didn't get around to it. I was happy enough with this battery that I ordered it again. In my Moto G7 Power it gives me an amazing 5+ days of battery life depending on how much I use the phone of course. I'm looking forward to another two years of service out of this new battery and by that time the phone will be six years old and due for replacement anyway.
