This came packaged beautifully. The only complaint I have is I'll have to get some adapter fittings. The ones it came with won't work on my application. Otherwise, I'm assuming this thing will cool like crazy because it's huge, which is exactly what I need

Put this cooler on a 2001 GMC 2500 8.1 with the 4l80e as a transmission cooler. Immediately saw my temps drop by over 30 degrees under all conditions. Before, normal temperature driving highway would be about 160-180, now it barely goes over 120. Most I've seen is 150-160 under heavy load. Very happy with it, especially considering that heat is what kills these transmissions the quickest. I'd recommend to anyone with a Silverado, suburban, etc.

So i am doing an transmission overhaul and wanted to upgrade from the factory trans cooler. This unit is well built and feels sturdy. The hardware that come with it should make for an easy install. You are going to have to fabric up a little since this is a universal kit. I feel like those of us who would buy this should already realize that though. It fits perfectly behind the grill of my silverado, and should out perform the factory cooler. My only suggestion would be to purchase your own lines and fittings so you know you have enough. The hose thst comes with this is just to bridge the gap to your factory lines.

I got this to add a cooler to the power steering/hydroboost brakes on a 5 ton truck. It is a well made cooler that comes with a great assortment of fittings. The only thing is that the ports are 5/8-18 thread not 3/8 as in the product description. Overall, pretty easy to install and it works well.

I got this to cool my 4L60E in my rat rod, and while it's probably overkill, that's what I was going for. The unit is build very well and came well packaged. The hose is a little short, plan on needing more unless you're reusing some existing coolant hard lines. It was hard for me to pick a color, I eventually chose black since that would be a nice color to blend in and keep oxidation off the aluminum. The coating looks like a very light powdercoating, but it could also be some thicker paint. Eitherway, I 'm very satisfied with the build quality of the unit. I'll be mounting this sideways next to the engine, so it will only catch incidental air.
