I initially ordered these to place on the back of a wooded chair that I have in my bedroom. I use the chair for when I’m putting on my socks and shoes. Much to my chagrin, when I sit in the chair it sometimes hits the wall and causes the paint to wear off the wall. I’ve repainted the spot at least 3 times and I finally decided it was time to fix the problem.These wall protector strips are easy to use and adhered nicely to the back of my chair. It also does a great job at keeping the wood from scraping the wall. The strip was longer than I needed for the chair, so I cut the strip at each of the rounded edges to use on a glass kitchen counter saver/trivet that had lost two of it’s cushioned “legs.†It adhered nicely to the glass and was the perfect size to stop it from wobbling. I’m already considering all of the other ways I can use these around my house!Note: I've only had the strip adhered for about 2 weeks, so I can't speak to the longevity of these strips. If I have an issue, I will update my review.

We don’t have a chair rail on our walls and our leather furniture rubbed against them and scraped the paint down to the drywall. This product fits on the top corners of both the loveseat and sofa and the clear bumpers don’t stand out or transfer color. They could have a stronger adhesive and I have no idea how they would work on fabric. I’ll update if there are additional findings.
