1: Clean the glass, make sure the glass surface is free of dust and oil, wait for it to dry naturally or use a hair dryer to blow dry.
2: Place the clean and dried glass on a smooth tile, press the suction cups firmly to ensure that the suction cups are in contact with the glass to provide a stable suction (if applying to tiles, make sure that the surface of the tiles are smooth and flat.)

3: After fixing the top suction cups, use the remaining suction cups to bring the load-bearing bracket close to the bottom of the acrylic panel to ensure the window frame is more stable.

I like this shelf. It allows me to place smaller plants high enough to avoid kitty paws but still letting them get enough sunlight. Currently I have a longer planter sitting on it without it hanging off the edge. The shelf comes with a thick acrylic shelf, suction cups, and support arms. The suction cups slide into place on the back of the shelf but are hard to slide all the way to the end where they need to be. I found twisting them helped. 2 suction cups go on each of the support arms. One to attach to the window and one to attach to the bottom of the shelf. Aligning them just right did take a moment. There are 2 suctions cups leftover. So far, they are supporting the planter nicely. The challenge will be when the kitties realize there is another area above them on the window.

This little shelf is sturdy. I am using it to hold 3 little planters (well 2 of them are coffee cups that I'm using to start some hens & chicks). It works well, the suction cups are plenty strong. Unfortunately I don't really like the appearance of this shelf. I ended up hanging it in my bathroom because I just didn't like the way it looked on my kitchen windows.

I like this 15-Inch Window Box. It's very easy to install, and stays where you put it. It hasn't fallen off once, even in the cold of winter. I got it to put a wifi extender in the window so it can connect to the base unit in another building, and needed it to be up higher on the window. This was the perfect solution. It's clear and can't really be seen, and I like that it doesn't detract from the look of my window.

This is a nice little window shelf for smaller plants. Currently, I have 2 small pots sitting on it with chives and dill. It has not fallen or slipped at all since putting it up. I would not put anything on this that is too heavy, so I'd stick with light plastic or paper pots with a lightweight soil. I could probably fit a third plant on it but I feel like that would be a little too crowded. It's nice enough looking but I am considering painting it to make it look nicer. It would be good for little succulents or small knick-knacks.

The load bearing bracket is sturdy and secure, so I never have to worry about my plants falling or tipping over. This was really easy to install. The suction cups have a very strong grip on the glass window and the shelf and brackets seem sturdy. I have three potted plants on it now and it doesn't seem to be moving or struggling to hold them up at all.

Not only for plants! The is shelf is made using thick acrylic with 4 large suction cups, plus 2 extras! Sticks to the window glass firmly and hopefully securely. Although it says it will hold up to 12lbs., small plants can get pretty heavy once watered. Instead, I placed my crystals and glass art on it. The sun, when we have sun, hits each piece directly, reflecting onto an adjacent wall. It's really pretty. I am still concerned about putting heavier objects on it as windows tend to get some condensation on them when it's cold out and warm inside. So, for now, I'm happy to show off my glass art. Highly recommend!!
